CHAPTER TWENTY

One month later: February 14

Brynlie saw her heart doctor and he said everything looked ok for now. She will be doing monthly visits for a few months though.

Today is valentines day. The day of love. The girls have been home for a month now and things have been great. Niall and Harry have been such a big help. Anne finally made it over to see Olivia. Gemma keeps begging to come see her but Harry and I agree that now is not the time. Niall says he has a surprise for me tonight And I can't wait to see what it is.

"Ok Harry you're sure you can handle both girls by yourself?' I ask frantically

" yes, yes I know all I need to about the girls. Just go and have fun. We'll be fine... I promise" Harry assures me

"Ok.. Ok I'll just be in my room getting ready. If you need anything let me know Haz" I say

"Alrilght love..will do" Harry says

I Go back to my room leaving Brynlie and Olivia with Harry. It takes me quite a while to finally decide on what to wear. I settle on a tight red, satin, sweetheart neckline dress and nude stilettos. So now I need to go in for a quick shower. Niall has left the house he said something about needing to go sign papers and pick something up.

I'm enjoying my shower when Harry knocks at the door.

"Cassie..love? Can I talk to you?" Harry says

"Sure Harry take a seat on the porcelain throne. What do ya want to talk about? Are the girls ok?" I ask

"Yea they're fine, just fell asleep" Harry says

"Then what is it?" I ask

"Ok promise you won't get angry with me...but I want to be honest with you Cassie. I..I... I love you" he says

"I love you too Haz" I reply

"No Cassie im in love with you again...still. I don't know, I've felt this way for a long time now. Just seeing how great of a mother you are to the girls and the way you're so forgiving drives me wild. I just wanted you to know" Harry says

"Oh.. Harry you know Niall and I are together. What we had was fun and amazing while it lasted. I thought I loved you and I did before things got bad. Harry you and I would never work. Plus you're doing so well. You have me for the rest of our lives or at least for the next Eighteen years" I say stepping out of the shower wrapped in a towel.

I can't believe Harry is doing this right now. I love Harry, I really do but not like that. I love him as a friend and the father of our daughter but nothing more and nothing less. Niall and I are meant to be together. His hand fits in mine like it was made just for me. I can't picture myself with anyone else.

"I'm not meaning for it to sound like I want you to choose because I don't. I already know the answer to that. I just wanted my feelings to be known. I don't want this to scare you away either. I love how far our friendship has come. You're my baby's mother and I love you Cassie.. I always will" Harry says

"I love you too Hazza. Now please exit my room so I can finish getting ready for my hot date" I say giggling

I hurry up and finish getting ready. I was finishing up my mascara when my phone rings

"Hello"

"Hi baby you ready?" Niall asks

"Yea be right down handsome"

"Wow baby you look smashing. I can not wait to peel you out of that dress" Niall tells me

"Well aren't we feeling frisky" I say

Niall and I climb into the limo he had come pick us up. We drive for about 20 minutes until we are in the heart of London. We pull up to the London Eye entrance.

"What are we doing here?" I ask

"Well I thought we could go for a ride before we get on the dinner boat"

"Niall you know I'm terrified of Ferris wheels" I say

"It's ok babe you have me to hang on to" he says

We get out and bored the London Eye. We got a pod all to ourself. When we take off I have a tight hold on Niall's torso. After about 5 minutes I start to settle down and wander over to the window and look down and all of London.

"It's beautiful" say

"I know almost as beautiful as you" Niall says

After we exit the ride Niall and I walk down to the dinner boat.

"Isn't that Niall Horan!?" I hear a girl say to her friend

"I'm not sure. It looks like it though" the other girl says

"Honey those girls over there have spotted you" I tell him

"Oh did they?" He says

"Ni go over and say hi, they're your fans I promise I won't get mad" I tell him

I stand back as Niall walks over to say hello To his fans

Niall POV

"Hi girls how's your day going?" I ask

"Oh my god Niall Horan from one Direction.. We..we.. We're great" they stutter

"That's good to hear." I tell them

"Can we get a photo?" The red head asks me

"Sure I don't see why not" I say

One of the girls pulls out a phone and I hold it out in front of me to snap a few photos. I do the same with the other girls phone as well. Then we stand and chat for a few moments before the girls walk over to Cassie and tell her congratulations because i told them my secret for tonight.

Cassie POV

"Hi we are such big fans of 1D and so happy to meet you" the red head says to me

"Oh yeah 1D is great, so is Niall" I say

"Congratulations" the blond blurts out. I see her friend nudge her

"I mean on the babies.. Congratulations.... Bye" they say and run off all giddy

"What was that about?" I ask Niall

"They wanted to say Hi to the love of my life." He says

We board "Lady Diana". I find out Niall has rented the whole thing out for just the two of us. We walk into the ballroom as slow music starts to play. Niall dances with me for a while before taking a step back.
