Five Feet Apart- HICCSTRID

"Ohhhhhhh, oh yeah this is perfect." Astrid said as she picked up the bikini bra, she was spending the afternoon with her friends. They were throwing a pool party that she organised, even though she couldn't go.

"Actually, no I think I quite like this one." Camcazi stated in a dirty way. "Oh my gosh that doesn't even cover up half of you boob,' astrid said making both Camcazi, Ruffnut and herself laugh. 'No you need something.. ooh this is nice."
"That's actually really cute. But is it to trampy or not trampy enough? Hello? Ruffnut! Are you with us?" Camcazi said getting Ruffnut out of her phone trance. "Ok! Guess what Snotlout and Anne are meeting us at the airport tomorrow." Ruffnut exclaimed in a rather happy but cool way.

"What's that face?" Astrid asked.
"You don't know?! Snotlout and Anne broke up during the summer."
"No. Oh my gosh." Astrid said covering her face.

A little silence filled the room as the friends stared at each other. "I'm really sorry you can't come with us Astrid." Astrid was flattered that her friends cared but it really wasn't going to make a difference, it would always be the same. "It's ok. You know it's getting late you guys should go home. You've got a busy day tomorrow with all those boys."
"Alright we'll come next week, we love you!"
"Love you too, use protection!"

Astrid walked to her bed to get her nose air wire and put it in her nose. She looked around her room feeling more lonely than ever before. So she decided to put up the picture her big sister made for her, along with all the other drawings she did. Astrid decided to get hr camera and update her YouTube channel.

"Hello world! So I'm back in the hospital for another tune up again. Need a few more rounds of antibiotics to get over this sore throat I've been having...
Oh! Hi Barb!" Exclaimed Astrid.
"Yeah you have a sore throat and a fake 102 fever. Get that camera away from me!" Barb was Astrid medical instructor and her friend but super protective. "Look Astrid will be right back after we get her checked up."
"Alright Barb, be right back world!" And Astrid pauses the video.

"Hi Astrid."
"Hi Julie. Wow a lots changed in the last 6 months."
"Yep the baby is dew March. Can you give me your arm." Astrid places her arm in the soft material to check her blood flow. Astrid started texting Fishlegs, soon she was done. "Alright you are all set I'll come by later."
"Thanks Julie." Said Astrid.

Barb was organizing her meditation cart. "There you are."
"Are you sure about this Barb."
"Don't worry I'll still be monitoring you only you'll be more independent."
"What would I do without you?"
"You'd die."
"Haha, very funny." Astrid went back to her YouTube channel and pressed play on the camera. "Soo, Barb is letting keep my med cart in my room this time, she left me a bunch of pills and some gee juice. Yum that's liquid nutrition that goes to my stomach through my gee tube. So too any of you girls out there wishing you could eat 5000 calories a day and not gain a pound, I'll trade you any day.' Astrid stopped to think, 'today I'll probably be reorganizing my med cart because as many of you know I am slightly insane, by slightly insane I mean clinical OCD. Soo, peace bye guys."

Astrid took off her camera and went straight to her med cart and started to reorganize it. Astrid got her first medication and started using it as did she do for the other ones. She looked around her room again and now she felt really alone. Astrid grabbed her to do's list and started crossing out the things she had done. She put down her pen and saw the next thing on her list was reading her book.

Later that evening Astrid was on her computer finishing off her schoolwork. She looked outside the window to see a cute couple hugging under the moonlight, wishing she could do the same. Astrid took the last of meds with some coke and breathed through her inhaler. Then there was a nock on her door. "New baby upstairs. Meet me in fifteen." Said Barb. Then she left the room. Astrid grabbed her mask, bag and a sweater as did started heading to the baby section.

As she was walking she passed Fishlegs room and found him sleeping, she gave a quiet giggle and continued to walk her way. Fishlegs also has Cystic Fibrosis making him Astrid's closest friend. Astrid passed Hiccup's room, feeling disgusted she immediately walked past his room.

Hiccup looked out of his room and saw Astrid then decided to follow her.

Astrid finally reached the baby section and stared at her reflection on the glass. Cystic Fibrosis is disease that enables to not do things like any other person would do. If you and someone else has CF then you must stay 6ft out of reach just in case you catch each other's bacteria. Meaning no kissing, no touching, no hugging and no babies. Although if you have CF and someone else doesn't then you can get as close as you want, you can even have a baby.

Astrid's dream is to have children and a husband but she knows, that will never come true.
