Leo crept into the lair taking the utmost importance to not wake his father or three slumbering brothers. He did this nearly every night and still he was paranoid that someone would catch-

'''Leonardo?''

''GAH!!'' Leo jumped and came face to face with.......oh sewer apples.

Master Splinter held his staff in his hands and glared sternly at his eldest son with his wisdom-filled eyes

'' Where have you been?''

Leo rubbed the back of his neck and tried to look innocent ''B-been? I was just...uh....getting a glass of water. Heh......''

Sensi raised an eyebrow ''Oh? It took you three hours to get a simple glass of water?''

''Crud. I have to tell him the truth.'' Leo groaned to himself. Sensi was going to ground him for an eternity. ''Well.......I maybe......went to the surface...''

''Leonardo.'' Sensi groaned ''We have discussed this time and again why it is important to stay below ground. What if you had been seen?''

''I was careful!!'' Leo protested ''No one saw......me.''

But as he said this his mind brought up the image of the beautiful girl he had helped at the the noodle shop. Her wavy brown hair....her chocolate colored eyes.......her melodic voice. Her name.

Sadie.

Leonardo realized that Master Splinter was staring intently at him.

''No one?'' The tone was not a question. It was a I-don't-believe-you-at-all tone of voice.

''Well........maybe one person did.'' Leo admitted staring at his feet ''B-but she didn't freak out or anything! In fact she actually seemed to like me. She can also kick some serious shell and......''

''I take it you enjoy her company?'' Splinter interjected hiding a small smile.

''W-well maybe..........'' Leo blushed.

''Hmmm'' Splinter looked deep in thought. Then he sighed ''Do you promise to be careful?''

Leo nodded ''I can't believe he hasn't grounded me yet.'' He thought to himself.

''Well then.....I do not believe there is anything wrong with your....after hour activities. ''

Leonardo couldn't believe it. ''Hai Sensi.'' He bowed trying to keep his happiness discreet.

''But that means a round of Ramdoori tommorow. Understood?''

Leo nodded trying to look nervous about Ramdoori. But as Sensai turned away , Leo whispered to himself.

''Totally worth it.''
