Damn......I never realized how far my apartment was from the sewers. At least from a manhole. I kept walking trying to ignore the whispered argument that was going on behind me.

''Mikey I did not bring Sadie to the lair just so she could play video games with you!!''

''You're just jealous because she likes me!!''

''What?! I am not jealous OK? It's just......''

''Leo's got a cruuush.''

''Hey look we're here!!'' I quickly interupted. They clearly didn't realize that with my mutation I could hear a lot better than I used to. I didn't mention it though. I was nervous enough. How on Earth would my parents react? Maybe this wasn't a good idea.....

I shook my head. They had to know. I turned around to the guys ''OK here's the plan. I'm going to go in first and try to explain what exactly happened to Mom and Dad. Wait for your cue and then come in. Got it?''

''Wait what's our cue?'' Leo asked. I smiled ''You'll know it when you hear it.''

''Of-of course....is everything ok sweetie?''

''Yeah Mom. Just.....need to discuss some things.''
