Casey's POV

Tomorrow is the first day back at school, I really am not looking forward to it. This is the first time I'm gonna be there without him.

You're probably wondering who I'm talking about; Harvey Mills. He was my best friend, we used to FaceTime all the time, we used to hangout constantly because we couldn't get enough of one another.

He used to always be there for me, cheering me up every time I felt down, let's just say he was a great best friend.

Everything changed after he left. We'd constantly fight over the phone, there wasn't a time that we would have a normal conversation like we used to. Wanna know why?

He promised me he'd come back to me, he'd get my hopes up and then when that day arrives, he'd make plans with his mates. This became an ongoing thing.

I started to confront him about all the lies he'd tell me, and he'd always make out as if I'm overreacting and that there's other days that he could come.

I know, I may seem stupid for getting mad every time he bails because he has other plans, but he doesn't understand that it hurts me.

I go from being so goddamn happy to see my best friend, bare in mind I haven't seen him for months, to being let down every time.

It's almost as if he does it on purpose, what did I do to deserve that? What's the reason behind it if he was doing it purposely?
