*Before they reunited*

Harvey's POV

Yesterday was the best day I've had in a while, me and Casey were back to how we used to be, but even closer. Ever since the whole argument, and us being apart, we finally managed to clear it all up and move forward.

I can honestly say that I'm the happiest I've been in ages, and that's all because of her. Today I was planning on just chilling, but then my mom came up to me saying we were going somewhere.

Confused, I got ready and headed downstairs towards the kitchen where my mom and dad were there, making cereal for us all. I approached them and smiled, saying good morning.

The day wasn't that bad, but it would've been better if I was talking to Casey. Speaking of her, she hasn't answered my messages today, that's strange. I looked down at my phone, seeing that they delivered but they haven't been seen.

The truth is, I'm worried, maybe something happened to her? Maybe she's upset? Maybe she's not well? MAYBE she doesn't want to talk to me. All these thoughts rushing through my head like a dog chasing a tennis ball were extremely nerve racking.

As usual, my mom noticed because she walked up to me with worry in her eyes. "Harvey, what's wrong?" she asked, I always seem to make it obvious that I'm in a mood.

I turned towards her, getting ready to spill my feelings out. "I'm worried mom, Casey hasn't spoken to me today, for me that's not normal. I keep getting these thoughts, maybe she got bored of me and decided to just cut me out? or maybe she's upset or something's happened to her, I just can't-" I couldn't finish what I was saying because my mom interrupted me.

"Harvey, there's probably an explanation for this, she might just be busy. Casey has no reason to cut you off, I can tell she really likes you, you're her best friend after all. Plus I'm sensing by the way she is with you on the phone, that she has a thing for you." my mom assured, yet teased me.

"You're right, I guess she would've told me if something was wrong. For the other thing you said, no. I highly doubt she has any feelings for me whatsoever." why would she? all I am to her is her best friend, I just wish she felt the same.

A few hours later we arrived at our destination, I'm still confused as to why we're here. Apparently it's a surprise. Me and my dad were talking when all of a sudden I felt a pair of hands covering my eyes. Then their soft , yet recognisable voice spoke, "guess who?" she questioned, my heart felt like it was beating 100 miles per hour.

My girl, I mean Casey is here!! I quickly spun around, shocked, and just stood there for a few minutes trying to take it all in. She broke the silence by saying "are you just gonna stand there or-" Before she could finish, I pulled her into my embrace, never wanting to let her go. She's finally here, I wasn't expecting this at all. I can honestly say that my day has gotten a lot better.

Silence, that's all that was heard as the birds were chirping in the air, the wind howling, and me and Casey stood, after breaking apart our hug, staring at one another. The butterflies I felt right now, I wouldn't even be able to describe it.

As always, silence were made to be broken, so I said the words I've been wanting to say since she came here, "I'm so fucking happy to see you" it's so true, the one person that means the entire world to me is stood right in front of me.

"I'm happy to see you too, it's been a while." she smiled, lord that smile always gets me. It took me a moment to actually realise that there was a picnic blanket laid on the ground with a basket full of food, and some candles placed around the blanket. This was beautiful, she really did this for me.
