Sierra-

I woke up extremely early for my first day at work. I can't believe I made it this far, its unbelievable. Zack texted me saying he loves me and wishes me luck on today's festivities. I text him back saying thank you and I love him too! I put on my white looking lab coat that all the psychiatrists and doctors wear. I can't believe it, I am now known as Dr. Sierra Daniels!

My Day Begins:

I was told to meet Skylar this time by the entrance to the ward. So I did as I was told and I met up with Skylar. Good Morning Skylar! Morning Dr. Daniels. So this is your keycard, don't lose this, it's how you are granted access throughout the asylum. She hands me the laminated piece of plastic and I clip it to my coat.

We enter through the hall. This is hall 100, this is where all the doctors offices and work stations are located. Since you will be working close with the patient's, your office is in hall 102.

This is your office! I take a look and it is fairly big but I am not complaining. You will be able to unpack and wander after our tour. We made it to the treatment room's which is hall 103. These halls are to help stabilize patience or help treat them in different versions of therapy depending on their insurance. I think to myself, "Insurance?" That's upsetting to me because what if they have no insurance or they have bad insurance do we just leave them on the streets while they're ill?

Finally we arrive to the secured area which is the patient's domain as Sky refers to it. We enter through Hall A. This is hall A, in Hall A these patient's come and go. They are allowed to leave whenever they please because they are considered outpatients but they do receive treatments. Heading towards Hall B, Skylar bonds with a patient showing no fear. Hi Hailey, how are you feeling? I doing ok, but I could be better. Who's that?

The patient Hailey was referring to me. Oh, this is Dr. Daniels! She may not be in your pod but you will see her around often. Leaving Hall A, entering Hall B. We call this the Hall of the "No." All the patients that are put here have to stay because either a therapist or the doctor told them that being here would benefit them. They often scream "No" a lot.

The last hall but certainly not the least, Hall C, the "Misfits." We call them that because they are untreatable and by law they have to stay here for life, so this is their home now. Be very careful because one bad move and it may cost you your life! My eyes widen with fear! Sky laughs. I'm joking, they're usually pretty chill, but just stay safe and always have a guard around for protection. That it my friend, that I'm afraid, is the end of our tour! Any questions for me?

Am I going to be given the schedule for hall A, B, and C? Yes, everything is on your desk, if you're missing anything let me know. She escort's me to my office and I am all alone. For the first day, I was told I leave at 1:45pm. I gather my information and login to my computer for my files and patient I will be handling.

It turns out that I have three patients to start with. Since Asylum X is old fashion, I had to walk all the way to the file room to get my patients information which is all the way in room 12 in Hall 104. I overstayed my visit, it is 2:30pm I have been getting to know my patients from the notes other therapist have written. I am anxious, but excited to meet them all tomorrow...
