~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~3rd person pov
Miyako and her team were trying to capture a cat who ran away from its owner. Miyako was sitting in a tree casually while her teammates were all moving in close to the cat's hiding place. She noticed the cat had a red ribbon tied on its ear and recognized the cat as Tora and smiled softly as she sat in a tree not far from the cat.
"Sasuke, I'm at point D."
"Sakura, point B."
"Naruto?" Kakashi asked in the earpiece that everyone has as they move in close to the cat's location.
"Naruto, point A. Believe it!"
"You're too slow, Naruto. Miyako, what about you?" Kakashi asked his daughter but got no response so he wonders if she's gone mute again or if something's bothering her.
A growl was heard over the earpiece as he thought that. "I heard that old man. Do not think I can not read your damn mind." She snarled out and he was afraid of pissing off his daughter more than she was getting. "Good, you should be afraid! You shouldn't have thought of that." She said before whispering "dumbasses." Everyone started moving when the cat did but Miyako knew the cat was not wanting to go back to its owner.
Naruto grabbed the cat but got scratched and then the cat jumped in Miyako's arms who was in a tree branch and purred when she pet the cat behind the ears. "Is there a red ribbon to confirm the positive identification of the cat?" Sasuke looked at the cat in Miyako's arms before answering "affirmative. We got a positive ID."
Naruto got mad because Miyako was smiling at the cat that scratched him before yelling in the earpiece "I hate cats! Why can't we get better missions than this one?" Miyako took her earpiece out before he could yell that as she pet the little kitty in her lap and smiled softly. Soundwave was watching the girl interact with the cat before they all went to Lord Hokage's office to return the cat. Miyako was walking next to Soundwave as she nuzzled the cat, who in turn nuzzled her back while purring. Kakashi noticed this and smiled as his visible eye softened at the sight of his daughter and the cat. Sakura had to take the cat away from her and gave the cat back to the owner, who squashed the cat in a hug and Miyako sweat dropped and Soundwave put a digit on her forehead and she looked up at him. Knockout was standing not too far from Soundwave while Breakdown was standing a little bit away from the group.
Miyako's pov
I noticed the cat was hissing while trying to get away from her owner but the owner herself just walked away with the cat in her arms. Hokage-San was starting to list some other missions that would seem easy for everyone but Naruto wasn't having it as he started shouting about how he wanted a real mission instead of this baby stuff. I could hear Sakura and Sasuke agreeing with him and I just stood there while dad thought 'I knew this would happen.' Iruka Sensei was telling Naruto and the others about the missions for each rank, kind of like the job requests back in Fairy Tail. Iruka Sensei noticed no one was paying attention since Naruto was talking about whatever but I wasn't listening since I was waiting for Iruka Sensei to finish what he was saying. Hokage-San was getting irritated with them not listening before Naruto said, "you're always lecturing me like you're my grandfather or something. I'm not that bratty little kid who used to pull pranks. I'm a ninja now and I want a ninja mission." He turned his back and crossed his arms and I sighed before looking at Hokage-San who was looking back at me.
