Hostage

Rey POV
Big fluffy flakes of snow fell from the sky, engulfing the battle below. Kylo reached out with the force, trying to grab Luke's saber that was stuck in the snow a few feet away. It started to move its way out, flying towards Kylo, when he thought he had it, it passed over him almost clipping his shoulder as it landed into the scavengers hand. Kylo was furious, eyes turning cold, he flicked on his saber sending an electric buzz throughout the forest, Rey did the same to her saber.

Rey ran at Kylo swinging her saber at him. He blocked her saber with a loud buzz as they pushed against each other. Kylo was stronger than Rey, she struggled to push her saber free. When it finally budged she took another unsuccessful swing.

"Join me," Kylo seethed through his teeth. "You need me to train you," Kylo pushed onto Rey's saber with more force, sending her tumbling backwards. "You're weak!"

Rey swung at his legs, grazing his right shin, sending him on his knees. Rey jumped to her feet, swinging at Kylo again. He was getting tired and his block was slow, with little strength. He limped onto his feet, striking Reys side. She jumped out of the way, watching his saber slice through a tree. The tree fell between them making an explosion of snow into the air. Rey leaped over the tree with her saber above her head. Kylo quickly deflected her shot. They stood, glaring daggers into each other's eyes through the glow of their sabers.

"I will never join you," Rey seethed, catching Kylo off guard by her tone.

His eyes softened and his grip on his saber loosened. She took that opportunity to make another swing, hitting him across the face. His body flew backwards into the snow. Kylo shrieked in pain as his hand hovered above a bloody wound that snaked down from the top of his eyebrow to his shoulder. Rey felt her stomach sink as a feeling of remorse rose over her, she didn't understand why but she didn't dare walk over to him.

They both heard a whoosh above their heads. Rey looked up hoping it was the falcon. she was ready to get out of there, unsure if she could take much more. Kylo used this distraction to his advantage and slammed the butt of his saber into Rey's head, sending her into darkness.

Two stormtroopers made their way over to Kylo, ready to take their new hostage. Kylo watched as they struggled to lift her limp body up, dropping her back on the ground in the process.

"Just...don't." Kylo spit out in a harsh tone. He walked over to the scavenger and scooping her into his arms. They're so useless. Kylo thought to himself, turning away from the troopers as they followed him from behind.

"Sir are you sure you don't want is to handle this?" One if the troopers spoke up. This made Kylo chuckle.

"You can't even lift a girl let alone do anything right," he force slammed the trooper onto his knees, "I said to leave it alone." Kylo swiftly continued walking towards the first orders ship.

He looked down at your limp body. You were so venerable, so weak, he wanted to slip into your mind and get the answers he needed to destroy the resistance. But he didn't, it didn't feel right to him for some reason, so he decided to wait till you woke up.

Reys head was now dripping blood from where Kylo had struck her. He reached his gloved hand over trying to apply pressure to the wound as your face started to place.

He made it to the ship, climbing aboard in a hurry, the scavenger was no use to him if she was dead, it would've been a waste of time to find her if she ended up dead. He stormed over to the infirmary, cutting through the doors.

"She's bleeding out, fix it," He demanded. Two medical droids headed over to Rey's body that was now rested on a cot. A man who looked like a doctor just stared at Kylo, unable to move. "I said fix it!" He yelled, the short man scurried over to Rey's body as Kylo watched impatiently.

She had to be ok. Kylo needed her to be ok, he didn't want to fail Snoke. He promised he'd get the girl now all he needed was for her to be alive.

About two minutes had passed and Kylo could take anymore of this.

"Is she going to be ok or not!" He yelled at the man, force pushing him against the wall, causing all the medical supplies on the shelf's to wobble.

That's when Rey started to stir.
