Chapter 3

Imani POV

I didnt know what else to do but call Paco and tell him everything that happened . He told me he was coming in an hour . Well he never came and neither did my daddy . The ones I thought would save me , currently didnt care about me . I felt so hurt by everyone . I called Diamond and told her what happened and to come over . About 15 minutes later , she was knocking at my front door . I opened the door and she just grabbed me into a hug .

Diamond : Are you okay ?

Me : Yeah Im fine , come in .

We went up to my room and sat on the bed .

Diamond : I cant believe he did that to you , your daddy know ? Cause if he did then his ass would be dead by now .

Me : Right before it happened , my daddy was supposed to be coming over . He never showed and I called Paco and he said he was coming over but he didnt .

Diamond : I dont how many times we got to keep going over this , Paco dont love you and he just want you for sex .

I just broke down in tears , what she was saying was true but I really loved Paco .

All of a sudden , my phone started ringing and it was Paco sister Princess .

Convo :

Princess : Mani , Paco in jail , the police just came and picked him up .

Me : Wait , what ? Drugs or something ?

Princess : They say he killed James .

I just dropped the phone , I couldnt comprehend what I just heard . All this time I had been thinking Paco lied and didnt give a fuck about me but he really cared and killed somebody for me . Everyday my life is crazy .
