Nina woke up in sweat. She had probably dreamt of something, a bad dream, but she couldn't recall it. She quickly sat down to clam he breathing that was very quick, very heavy.

"Are you alright?" She heard a low, hoarse voice ask her. "What time is it?"

"Three thirty-five, sorry I woke you up," Nina apologized.

"That's alright," he reassured her, placing a hand on her waist and pulling her back to the bed. "Just come here," he told her, pulling her body to his. She gladly let him, feeling the coolness from his body spread to hers. Their species didn't have musch of a difference when it came to body temperature; both around 15°C, but Loki was a Frost Giant. He felt himself relax as Nina's body warmth spread throughout his torso.

Nina was unable to sleep until the morning. She kept her eyes open, staring at the ceiling, watching as the sun light slowly appeared through their curtains.

She slowly came to the realization that she was slightly light headed, and felt a little bit sick. She didn't exactly understand what was going on.  She knew it must have something to do with this being an artificial planet. She had been told they were dangerous for a reason. Maybe there was something in the air. She couldn't know for sure until they found out more about it in that party.

Loki began to slowly stir, making Nina realise he was starting to wake up.

"Morning," she purred with a smile. She turned towards him and placed a hand on his face, playing with the strands of his hair.

"Mmm," Loki moaned inti her touch. "Did you even sleep at all?" His voice was coarse, but careful.

"Not really," she admitted.

Loki felt bad for her. He knew Time Lords did not require as much sleep as he did. He also knew Nina had had a nightmare that had woken her up. He felt bad for falling asleep and leaving her.

They left the hotel and went into the shop. Nina couldn't help but feel out of place. The clothes the people were wearing were definitely different from what she had on.

"What do you think?" Nina asked Loki. They were in a shop, and she was holding a light green long dress to her body. Loki shrugged.

"It is a dress," he acknowledged. Nina squinted her eyes at him. "I do like the colour." Nina smiled.

"Well, it's better if we match, no?" She said.

At the end of the day, they had bought at least ten dresses, along with other pieces of clothing. Nina hadn't let Loki see the dresses she wanted to wear at the party. She said she wanted it to be a surprise.

What she didn't know, however, is that as she tried a dress on, Loki went to a small jewelry shop and bought a few items that he thought would look beautiful on Nina. He could almost feel how badly she felt for having her hair this short. She just felt... off. And he wanted to make her feel better.

They found their way back to the hotel once it was already dark, even if it was barely three Loki had put a spell on a small backpack they had bought, with Nina's help. It now was much bigger on the inside, so they could store all of the clothes they had bought.

Nina was sitting on the chair by the table, looking herself in the mirror as she dried her hair with a towel. Her hair was beautiful to Loki. It curled on its own into perfect loose curls. No midgsrdian woman could have a hair like this, of that Loki knew. But Nina was no Midgardian woman. She was the last of the Time Lords, she was Loki's bonded, and she was absolutely beautiful.

"You're staring," Nina pointed out, tearing him away from his thoughts.

"Can't help it," Loki admitted. "You're astonishing." Nina blushed at his comment and it made him smirk.

"I'm not even wearing the dress yet," she said, amused. Loki walked behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders. He lingered there a bit, using a little bit of his healing powers to heal the last of Nina's wound. She was completely healed, completely in shape.

His hands lingered on her shoulders for a while, before he slid them down her back and smirked upon feeling her shiver. She gasped, and they locked eyes through the mirror.

"Can I ask you something?" Loki asked, continuing his caresses on the woman's back. Nina smiled up at him.

"I guess," was her answer. She could feel by his tone that the question he desired to ask was a personal one.

"Why did you cut your hair?" Nina froze and Loki immedistly regretted asking it. He saw the look on her face, the terror. Something had happened to Nina, and just remembering it terrified her.
