With Feather gone, the household had spiralled down into madness. There was a manhunt search for Feather and Paige, of which Peter was leading and Toby and Greg were spending more and more time out looking. Feathers mother, Petunia, spent all of her time in the house, waiting for them to return. She slept on the couch every night and barely ate, which has made her look pale and sickly.

I tried looking after them for the first few days, though it wasn't my job to take care of them, Feather would want me to, so I tried.

That is, of course, until I was called back to Heaven.

I'll tell you, I haven't been back to Heaven since I was assigned to Feather, which meant it was seventeen years ago. Not much had changed, the towers and the battlements remained the same white brick that they had been when I left, Angels flew around, minding their own business, doing their jobs like they were supposed to.

I walked through the entrance of the castle that stood tall and proud, just beyond the entry gates to Heaven itself. I passed through the lobby, walked past all the people waiting in lines to find their assignments, through a secondary door to a quieter room where very few Angel's resided.

"Tiberius? What are you doing here?" Remiel, an Angel that stayed exclusively in Heaven, asked of me when I walked in.

Heads turned in my direction, but I ignored them, turning my own attention to the head of the table.

"Feather has been taken." Keeping my voice clear and steady would prove to be a problem.

The Angels around the table stood up suddenly,a low mumble growing around the room as the news set in.

"They have found her." Remiel said, his voice grave.

"What took her?" If anyone would know, it would be the Council.

Remiel cast a glance to the Angel sitting next to him

"Hey!" I snapped "What took Feather?"

"Tiberius, you might want to sit down, there is a lot to discuss." Reniel gestured to a seat not far from him.

Uneasy with the air of the room, I took the seat, leaning my forearms against the table as I looked around me.

"I'm afraid we haven't been completely honest with you Tiberius."

"I can see that."

"Your Feather, is no Human. She is the Prophet incarnate." Remiel paused to allow that news to sink in, but I kept staring at him. "At her birth, her father new that something was different about her, he knew that she would face danger as she grew older and that she is very important. So he had her Prophet abilities blocked, allowing your Feather to live her life as a Human, blissfully unaware of the supernatural world."

"Well that didn't exactly work out now did it?" I said dryly, anger rising up in my chest.

"No, it did not. Throughout her life, Feather has had extra protection. Not just yourself, but her stepfather as well. We Angels have kept a close eye on her, as much as we could. You have done an outstanding job of protecting her."

"Apparently it wasn't enough." I mumbled, feeling sadness make it's way past the anger I felt.

"Do not take this onto yourself Tiberius, it is not your fault. We knew that sooner or later, the Supernatural would find out about Feather, they would put the connections together and they would find her."

"Wouldn't it have been better to tell me in the first place?" I demanded. "Had I known I could have done better."

"We agreed as a Council that it was better for you to not know of such things." Castiel, an Angel to my left said.
