As the six of them were being seated for dinner, (Y/n) pulled Kiku off to the side. "Hey, I know that this isn't something that you like to do. Just put up with it for an hour or two, and I promise I'll make it up to you when we get back to school, alright?"
"Make it up to me?"
"I have a gift for you. Think you can calm down enough to earn it?"
He nodded, and they sat down at the table with the others, and things were already starting to go awry. "Why is there a line of butter packets and napkins across the table?"
"Because that's-a their side of the table, and-a this is ours," Feliciano explained while still slightly cowering behind his older brother. Kiku sighed and sat down next to him while (Y/n) sat down beside Luciano and opened up her menu.
Kiku probably would've found their dinner entertaining if he didn't have to constantly watch (Y/n) pulling the others apart, putting her hands on Luciano's chest every time he leaned across the table to "tease" his younger cousin. (Y/n) shouldn't have decided to go to dinner with the four of them. She shouldn't have offered to go to dinner with Feliciano and Lovino either, and now he was here, bored and miserable and getting steadily more agitated while waiting for it to just be over so he could drag (Y/n) back to the dorm so they could get some time together. Alone.
He jumped when (Y/n) reached across the table to take the fork out of his hand. Wait, when had his food arrived?
She twirled it in his pasta before holding it out in front of him. "W-wait, what-"
"If you're not going to eat by yourself, it looks like I have to feed you. Open wide."
Normally, Kiku would refuse outright, but she was staring at him with cute, wide eyes and such an endearing smile that he easily opened for her to place the fork inside his mouth before biting it. She grinned wider and took the fork back. "Does it taste good?"
"H-hai." She nodded in approval and ate a bite out of her own dish. Using his fork. "Umm, (Y/n)-chan..."
"Hmm?" She followed his gaze down to the fork in her hands and immediately blushed. "O-oh, whoops. Here, sorry." Kiku took back his fork and began eating again, only slightly distracted by the fact that (Y/n) having used his fork to eat seemed to make his food taste even better than before.
Then something clattered across the table, and Feliciano yelped before jumping out of his seat and behind Kiku's chair. "Feli, it's just a butter knife, it can't hurt you." (Y/n) stood up from her seat and picked up the fallen utensil before getting him back in his chair. "And Luciano-"
"It was an accident!"
She shot him a dubious look. "You're eating lasagna. I have known you since before I can remember, and I have never seen you use a knife to eat any sort of pasta ever. I get that being a needless asshole is kind of your thing, but can you tone it down when you're holding something that can be used as a weapon?"
"Needless asshole?"
"Like the time you stole Kuro's katana and left it in Lutz's room so when he finally found it he attacked Lutz and almost sent him to the hospital?" Flavio offered. "Or the time you went into my room, took all the clothes out of my dressers and closet and hid them around the house? Or when we were children and you used to throw rocks at children that passed by the bush you were hiding in? Or the time you took the cat plushie (Y/n) gave me because you lost yours and wouldn't give it back until we found it. Or-"
"Okay, I get it, shut up." Luciano scowled. "But even so, it's not even dangerous."
"It's still scary to have a knife heading for your general direction."
