Chapter 1: rainy day
I knew today was gonna be a long day when I woke up by the sound of my brother yelling at me to get up instead of my alarm clock.
I quickly looked at the time and it read 7:40. I had 20 minutes to get ready and go to school. I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. Not having a lot of time I just left my long light brown wavy hair alone besides spraying some sea salt spray in it before heading to get changed.
I put on some light washed skinny jeans and rolled the ends of them. I also put on a red sweater and my grey vans.
I went to the bathroom and did my make up alone with brushing my teeth.
Quickly I grab my bag and lunch and headed out the door to my car. I noticed that my brother had already left for school, since his car was gone. It took a few try's but I finally got my P.O.S. car to start.
I pulled into the school parking lot just as the bell went off, meaning I was late for first period. I huffed annoyed and headed to my locker.

The first couple periods flew by once I finally understood what was going on. Now for third period I had Algebra. Math wasn't my strongest subject, but it wasn't that bad.
When I got to class I sat in the middle toward the back. I'm probably one of the younger ones in the class, even though I'm 17, the class is filled with mostly seniors.
As I was taking notes, I couldn't help but finding myself not being able to concentrate. I turned to my right to see a group of guys in the back corner messing around and being really loud, especially Ashton. All those boys ever do is disrepute class and be annoying.
I turned my attention back to the board but the group of guys didn't quiet down. "Is there a problem Mr. Irwin?" The teachers voice boomed through the class room, making everyone go silent. "Of course not sir." Ashton replied, but he didn't seem scared just something he was going to shrug off.
Later in class when the teacher left to go make copies of something I just finished the notes, not even sure how since the guys in the corner got very loud again. Next thing I knew I was hit by something in my back. I looked at the ground already furious, to see a piece of crumbled up paper. I snapped my head toward the boys and glared at them. "Do you need something?!" I said sternly at them. "Not a thing sweetheart." Ashton said being the only one to speak. "Then could you please stop?!" "Sure thing." He said with a smirk.
Once the bell rang I left that class and went to fourth period, with is the last class before lunch.

Finally lunch came, which I was happy about since I didn't have time for breakfast this morning. I found the table with my friends already there.
Chloe and Annabelle were already in a deep conversation by the time I sat down. I sat my lunch down by Annabelle and Went to go to the bathroom but Chloe gave me a 'where are you going' look and I mouthed to her bathroom as Annabelle was still explaining something to her.
When I got back and finally sat down they seems to have passed whatever they were talkin about earlier. "What's up Jamie?" Annabelle asked me. "Just having a long day." I said. "Why?" Chloe asked now. "Because Noah had to wake me up with only 20 minutes to get ready." "Ouch." "Tell me about it."
I opened my lunch and started getting things out of it. I looked at the peanut butter and jelly sandwich in front of me realizing this wasn't my lunch. "What's wrong?" Annabelle asked now. "I think I have Noah's lunch."
I got up and put everything back in the bag before walking over to the area where I knew he sat, with his senior friends. Finally making it to his table of mostly seniors who were loud and laughing and throwing stuff I found Noah.
