Lucy POV
"Luc, wake up." I heard Damon say.

I pulled my blankets over my head and moaned. "Leave me alone Damon."

Damon sat on the edge of my bed and pulled the blankets off of my head. "Come on we need some sibling bonding without Bonnie of Kai." Damon said.

"Fine but we better do something fun." I said.

"Ohh we can share all the juicy girl gossip." Damon said.

"Don't have anyway, been stuck here." I said.

Damon smirked. "Then tell me about New Orleans you never talk about it."

I sighed. I knew the topic of New Orleans would be an unavoidable conversation. Better now than latter. "Fine let me get dressed and and we can talk."

Damon lead me into the woods. I told him about wild adventures in New Orleans. Leaving some parts out, as my brother he did not need to know about. I told him about the rivalry going on, worse than the Salvatore's. I told him about Nik, Elijah, and Haley and of course Jackson and Oliver. I told Damon they were werewolves and were cursed by a witch coven. I told him about Klaus' kid being killed by a wolf pack, that just so happened to be Oliver's....Oliver, god, I missed his eyes on me. He was the realists thing in my life and I needed him.

Damon smiled sadly at me. "Don't worry we are getting out of this hell decade today." Damon said. "And I have a hot date with my girl."

I scoffed. "Yeah considering if Kai is telling he truth and Bonnie's magic works.

"I'm thinking dinner and a movie, you know what? Screw the dinner and a movie. Skip straight to the good part." Damon said ignoring what I just said.

"Look Damon, I want to go home. But Kai is a psycho path and Bonnie's magic isn't reliable currently."

"Then I will kill Kai if he stands in the way of us getting home." Damon said.

"I heard my name. All good I hope." Kai said appearing out of nowhere. "The eclipse will happen directly overhead. In perfect alignment with the Gemini constellation. You need to dig into the tunnels below us."

"Why?" I asked.

"Have you never portal-jumped through an eclipse before?" Kai asked me slowly as if I was a child. "Okay look, the light of the eclipse will shine down and activate the Ascendant, Bonnie wi spout a little witchy woo and then poof!" He said. "Anyone standing in the circle of light holding the Ascendant goes home."

"Where are you going?" I asked Kai as I watched him walk away.

"Into town, I need to... gather some important supplies." He said.

Damon glared at Kai and picked up the shovel staring Kai down. I shook my head at Damon, he had that murderous look in his face. Damon looked at me be ogre starting to dig the hole.

"I'm going to get Bonnie." I mumbled.

By the time I got back with Bonnie, Damon had already dug a deep hole.

"Hey." Bonnie said to Damon. "You know there is a chance you are digging your own grave?"

Damon attacked the ground ignoring Bonnie. There was finally and opening appearing. "Ha." Damon said in victory.

"Looks like I got back just in time." Kai said setting down his backpack.

I ran toward him stealing the backpack to look what was inside. " Alex Rodriguez rookie card known to man, and a pager. Really?" I asked dropping the bag to the ground.
