18- Will You?

3rd person POV

Everything felt okay for the first time in a long time. Virgil felt safe, Patton felt happy, Logan let his walls down, and Roman didn't feel like he had to keep looking over his shoulder. They were happy and with each other, everything they could ever want right? Of course... The others had a little surprise for Virgil. They each had a small box in their pockets, Roman holding two like the queen he is. They've been planning to do this for so long, they could hardly keep themselves from doing it on the spot! They were all so in love with the boy in front of them and each other, they wanted that love to last forever. They've already been through so much, nothing can tear them away from each other again... Can it? "do you want to go to the waterfall for a while? I want to go watch the sunset." Roman chuckled lightly, Patton and Logan knowing what he was doing. Virgil was the only one out of the loop. "sure, I guess." Virgil shrugged slightly, not really caring where he was as long as he was with them. Logan wrapped his pinkie finger around Virgils as a way of subtly holding his hand while Patton held Virgils other hand completely, intertwining their fingers. Roman wrapped one of his arms around Logans waist gently while they made their way to the waterfall. It was getting close to sunset so they were planning on stargazing soon. Roman led them all up to the top of the waterfall and sat down next to the water, they had an amazing view of the sunset from there. Soon the sky was filled with warm oranges and pinks, fading into purples and blues. Virgil hummed with content and leaned on Logans shoulder slightly, he needed this. Being with the people that he loved in a calm environment, after weeks and weeks of hard work with Remus, this felt wonderful. Just being able to sit and enjoy the others company again... He never wanted this to end. They all layed down for a little while, having Logan naming the constellations for them and talking about what they hoped to happen in the future. Virgil pointed out a shooting star, giggling quietly. "make a wish, Virge." Patton whispered softly. Virgil closed his eyes and thought for a moment before deciding on his wish. 'I wish.... To stay this happy..' he thought to himself, smiling slightly. "what did you wish for?" Logan propped himself up to look at Virgil, tilting his head curiously. "if I told you it wouldn't come true." Virgil chuckled lightly and sat up, having the other three stand up. "come on, I wanna show you guys something." Roman laughed and lead the other three up to the edge, getting Virgil to stand in front of them and facing away from them. Logan, Roman and Patton got onto one of their knees and got out the ring boxes, waiting for virgil to turn back to them. After what felt like a lifetime, he finally turned to face them.

"... No.."
