"Hello." Said the shorter of the two stocky humans, my mind supplied me with the word "man". "Don't be afraid, we won't hurt you. There's no need to hide, we know you're there." I could tell that the man was honest in what he said, so I decided to take the chance and reveal myself from behind the large stone. I poked out my head and the rest of me slowly followed out. I stepped out from behind the stone to find two other shocked faces staring at me. Two men, and a shorter one who seemed different from the other two. She seemed to be more agile and had a certain air of difference about her. The word "woman" popped into my head.
The man addressing me had dark, shaggy hair, and seemed to be 20 or 30 years of age. "Hello," repeated the man. "What is your name?" He asked me. I didn't completely trust the trio yet, so I continued to remain silent. "My name is Adalbert, but you can call me Adal or Al. This over her is Aengus." He said gesturing to the larger man. The man Aengus gave a small grunt of acknowledgement and nodded his head. Aengus had a thin head of red, wispy hair, and was a strongly built man with wide shoulders and a square jaw.
The man Adalbert continued. "And this is Celeste, the only female in our trio. The lady Celeste had long, wavy dark hair and stunning green eyes. She had a fair build, but she looked as if she was as skilled of a fighter as Aengus.

After an awkward silence, I decided to speak out at last.
"Hello." I said quietly . I could not remember my name. I didn't know what to say. I decided to just tell them as much as I knew.
"I do not remember my name." I hesitantly said. The one named Adalbert responded with: "Don't worry about that, you should remember soon. In the meantime, I'm sure you'd like to know what's going on." I thought about the strange place I had woken up in, the strange stone poles sticking up everywhere, the odd lack of life in the area. "Where am I?" I inquired. "Why, you're in the land of night. By the looks of it, you just wandered out of a forest of petrified trees." That explains the poles. I said in my head. "There are twelve regions here, the land of Dawn, the land of Morn, the land of Noon, the land of Midlight, the land of Dusk, the land of Evening, the land of Night, and the land of Dark." A memory flashed over my vision; I was standing, watching a bright yellow orb descend over the edge of the sky, bringing dark along with it and filling the sky with stars. My mind snapped back to reality. I saw the trio crouching over me, watching my eyes flicker open. "Are you all right?" Asked the man Adalbert.
