after the order was reunited with James and Lily, they were sent back to Hogwarts. as hard as it was to have to leave everyone they did. lets no forget that they would be seeing them very shortly. however, there was one person that James and lily still had to meet. the most important person if you ask them. there daughter charlotte. both potters understood why they were unable to see there daughter. there was protection surrounding her living quarters. however, the order still had to come up with a time to bring charlotte home to Grimmauld place safely. James couldn't help feel sympathy towards charlottes situation. living with her muggle hating relatives, for a whole summer, whilst her best mates got to spend the summer together, in a magic environment.

" James I'm worried about charlotte," said lily whilst sitting on the couch of there living quarters

" why so," asked James, jumping over the couch and taking a seat next to her

"I just don't have a good feeling. and I only got it late last night" she said

" lils I'm sure you're overreacting," said James comforting lily

" call it mother intuition. a mother's intuition is never wrong" said lily worried.

James grabbed Lily and gave her a big hug. he knew that lily was a worrier. that's what she does. but he couldn't deny that lily's mother intuition was ever wrong.

" We have a meeting with dumbledore and fudge in an hour, we can bring the topic up then," said James kissing the top of lily's head

" I love you, James"
"I love you to lily flower"

" put this to me once again, James and lily potter did die," said fudge

" yes," said dumbledore

" and somehow their daughters wish bought them back to life"

"yes," said dumbledore

" you know how unbelievable this is," said fudge taking a seat

"you're telling us," said James and lily in unison

" well, we know that you are James and lily potter. Vertiserum doesn't lie. now I'm going to have fun explaining this to the papers" sighed fudge

"Fudge, just tell the truth. it's not that hard" said dumbledore

" thank you for your time," said fudge.

as he was going to leave the fireplace suddenly lit up and out stepped Sirius black, Hermione, and Ron.

" Minister Fudge, nice to see you again," said Sirius

" same to you Mr black. I assume you're looking for dumbledore and not i"

" Honestly we don't know who to involve. it's probably nothing" said Hermione

" bull crap. this isn't like her, something has to be up" said Ron making his way over to dumbledores desk.

" what's going on," asked all three adults

Ron and Hermione looked at each other. they knew that they couldn't keep quiet. their friend's safety could be in danger.

" it's char, something isn't right," said Hermione

" what do you mean, what's happening" asked lily worried

Hermione pulled all of her letters out of her pocket. there were dozens. Ron also pulled out letters from all the Weasleys. there were a lot more of them.

" what are these," said fudge

"all the letters that the Weasleys and Hermione have written to charlotte in the past month"

" wow that's a lot," said James

" There were more than that. a few letters made it to her but we never got any replies" said Ron

" Maybe she's to busy to reply," said fudge

" that's not like charlotte," said Hermione

" she always replies to our letters. that was the promise we made after second year. something has to be wrong" said Ron

" a month, she hasn't replied in a month," said lily

" these 2 didn't tell me," said Sirius pointing to Hermione and Ron

" oh dear," said fudge and dumbledore in unison

"I told you something was wrong James," said lily turning to face her husband.

" if something is wrong we should go and make sure," said dumbledore

" James and lily, given the predicament I believe it is best that you both stay put," said dumbledore

" that's our daughter," said lily

" Lil's I want to see our charlotte as much as you do, really, but if charlotte is hurt or injured, I don't think either of us would be able to deal with that. especially given that we haven't seen her for 14 years, and she doesn't know we are alive" said James

Lily sighed "I know, I'm just worried"

" We all are," said Sirius

"I have a proposition," said dumbledore

"This better involve getting charlotte to safety," said fudge

" it does," said dumbledore

" go on," said fudge

" James lily Ron and Hermione, you guys should all go back to Grimmauld place until we know what's wrong. Sirius, you can gather tonks, remus, and mad eye. us 5 will go and make sure that miss potter is okay" said dumbledore

everyone agreed as that was the only way they were going to get charlotte out into safety.

" Please inform me when you find out," said fudge

"we will," said Sirius

" Lily, James, we will let you know as soon as we find out," said Sirius

" Thanks, mate," said James

" Thanks, Sirius, "said lily

everyone flooed back to Grimmauld Place. unknown to them how injured charlotte was.
