"Don't you guys think I look fat?" Kassy asked, her eyes interestingly staring at the rows of different candies and confectioneries.

It was a Saturday morning and our parents had finally given us allowance. We were on a shopping spree and all my sisters were going crazy about the items they want to buy. I'm currently in charge of the money because they were spending too much. In fact, Eden can spend our parents' salary if she had the chance. Maya wouldn't leave the clothing and makeup section and Eden and Kassy were fantasising about marrying candies and having chocolates as their kids.

Kassy's pregnancy situation remained unsolved. She chose not to give any details about whether Nathan was the father or not. My parents had respected her decision and things were back to normal. The only problem was that she had broken up with Nathan but she's doing fine without him.

"I'm a cow." Kassy whimpered as she picked the junk and dropped them in the shopping cart.

"Kassy, you'll become a cow if take more than necessary." I advised.

"Zack is right. If you keep consuming sucrose and junk food, you'll become real fat. Which means that you would be able to fit your maid of honour dress. And Catherine will be very disappointed if you don't show up." Eden merely shrugged. She knows damn well how to pull a show.

Kassy raised a confusing eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"It means you have to give these," she pointed at the items inside the shopping cart. "To me. I'm a minor and I can be as obese as possible. I don't want to have a body like Maya. Maya is literally a living skeleton."

"How about now?" Maya's voice ringed out from behind me. I swirled around to take a look and I almost throw up.

She was standing and posing like a model on the runway. She had changed her outfit to a darker shade of pink. The layers of makeup and tiny Jersey dress made her look like a doll. She had an matching expensive sunglasses on and was holding several shopping bags like a billionaire's spoilt daughter who just bought an entire shopping mall.

"I look beautiful, right? I know. My beauty definitely confound you guys." She walked towards with a huge grin.

Kassy stared at her doubtfully. "Aaah... Flattery doesn't suit you my dear sister. You look like a barbie doll that kids under seven like to play with."

Kassy flicked her fingers and shrugged. "That was the aim. I'm glad I achieved it."

"You look like a combination of Cher from Clueless and Regina George from Mean girls." Eden denoted.

Maya's eyes flew open. "That's also part of the aim!"

Eden squinted. "But in a kind... of a negative way. It makes you a wannabe."

"You crazy little monkey!" Maya almost made a fool out of herself when she nearly run after Eden.

"So... how's Daisy... that's her name right?" Kassy questioned as we walked away from the chaos Maya and Eden were making.

The question was a surprise to me. Apart from Mom and Dad none of my siblings had asked about Daisy. I'm assuming they were just minding their business. I haven't spoken to Grandma in over three weeks. We have all being busy with our studies and preparing for Catherine's wedding.

My parents were best friends with the Lockwood. They were as close as I am with Eric. The family have three children - Catherine, Eric and the youngest, Willow. Catherine is also best friends with Kassy so we are very close. We go on family vacations together and literally do almost everything together.

"She's alright I guess."

She giggled abruptly as if she just remembered something. "Trust me, I was expecting some naive, shy, beautiful girl to be your girlfriend. You caught me off guard when that girl stormed in."

What does she mean? Daisy is one of the most beautiful girl in Maxwell High. Could it be that my sister does not find her pretty. "What do you mean? That Daisy isn't gorgeous? I could do better?"

Her eyes went wide and a gasp left her mouth. "Hell no! What I mean is that I wasn't expecting a girl as sexy and confident as Daisy to date you and even get pregnant from you. I mean you're a handsome, good boy and you always had a strong taste for normalcy. You were always talking about finding a pretty nice girlfriend but Daisy is definitely out of your league.

I actually like her. She seems bold, confident and her sassy attitude is killing me. And I think she has a very pure and beautiful heart. Imagine having a supermodel body and suddenly, you're pregnant. But she nailed it. In conclusion, I think you two made a perfect couple."

My sister smirked at me when I said nothing. I was surprised by what she said about Daisy. When I was young, I had always talked about meeting my soulmate just like how Dad found Mom.

Apparently, Mom was French and lived in Paris with her mother after the death of her father - our maternal grandfather. It was love at first sight and on the day my parents met they ran off and came back the America. They got married immediately and the rest was history. I remember multiple times Mom tried to teach us French but failed miserably.

"How far along is she?"

"Three months." I replied.

"I'm six already. For first pregnancies, the belly doesn't bulge quickly. Maybe in a month or two, it will start making an appearance."

I imagine Daisy walking down the hallway of Maxwell High with a very prominent bump. My heart swelled as I envision our child proudly kicking in her belly. I'd bend down and...

"We're going to the clothing section. The girls will help me choose some outfits. But I have to warn you - it can take some time."

I nodded. "Fine. I'll wait outside."

Women and fashion.

I almost made it to the door when I noticed a familiar blonde on a bike with a small shopping bag through the glass wall of the mall. As she positioned herself on the bike, something fell off from the bag. Before I could take a step, she had already started the bike and was pulling out of the parking lot.

I hurried outside after her and picked up the thing she left. It was a perfumed deodorant spray for men. What was she doing with men's fragrance? I had to return it to her though.

I got inside my car and went after her. I was able to spot her but she was far away. I drove faster, intent on not missing her. Where was she going? That lane was definitely not the route to her house. I considered returning back to the mall and just give her the perfume on Monday for a moment but curiosity got the best of me.

A few minutes passed before she finally stopped in front of an old two storey house. I stopped and watched her like a stalker. The area was quiet and peaceful. Daisy got off the bike and took the bag with her. I watch her walk towards the house and presses the doorbell.

It took less than a second before an old woman opened the door. They embraced excitedly before she allowed Daisy inside and shutting the door.

So many thoughts ran through my head. This old woman might be just a maid in that house. The house could belong to a guy. Possibly Cole. I have no doubt there's a guy in there because of the perfume but I don't know who he is to Daisy. This tempting feeling I want to succumb to wants me to go in and fill in my curiosity but the other part of me tells me it's the wrong decision.

I guess Monday will be the perfect day for her confession.
