"I don't believe you." I said to my best friend's face.

Jupiter rolled her eyes and threw her head back. It was obvious she was frustrated. "Give up, Daisy! I don't want to talk about it, okay?" She went back to opening her locker.

Immediately, I banged my hand on the locker to keep it shut. This little sneaky bitch I called a best friend refused to tell me what was wrong with her. I was damn worried about her and she's still not talking. "Jupiter, I'm your fucking best friend! We don't fucking hide secrets from each other. Don't you trust me?"

"Tell her please!" Peyton said the minute she approached us. If looks can kill, she'd have already being six feet under. Jupiter was glaring daggers at her and at that moment, I knew it has to do with Peyton. "I don't know what I did to her but she has being glaring at me like am some fucking enemy."

"That's exactly what you are to me! And stay the fuck away from me!" Jupiter yelled at Peyton. She left both me and Peyton baffled.

I turned my anger on Peyton. "What did you do to my best friend?"

Peyton stared at me in shock. "Don't stare at me like that! I don't know the reason, Daisy. One moment, we were the closest friends and the next, we're sworn off enemies. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with your best friend. I swear I would never do anything to hurt her."

I calm down when I saw the sincerity in her eyes. I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. I force a smile at Peyton and hugged her. "I'm sorry."

She hugged me back happily. "No worries. I just hope she's okay. I'd never do something intentional to hurt her."

I let go of her and placed my hands on my hips. "Don't worry, I'll find out soon and will keep you updated. Something serious must have happened and she couldn't say it. I'll find out soon. But I want you to focus on your exams and not my sweet best friend, okay?"

Peyton smirked and nodded. She said her goodbye and left me standing in the crowded hallway. Jupiter and I got a lot of things to catch up with. But first, I need to find Zack and talk to him. It's high time we meet and talk.

I saw him by his locker, shoving his stuff carelessly. Both Shawn and Eric were next to him. I walked over to them and knocked on his locker. When he saw me, he let out a frustrated groan and looked away. "I don't want to talk."

I ignored him and turn to Shawn and Eric. "Boys, can I please talk to your stubborn best friend over here?"

Shawn nodded. "Sure. See yer." He said with a smile and left. A miserable Eric stared at me for a brief moment. "How's Jupiter?"

I realised it has being a while since the last time I saw them together. Jupiter literally built a steel wall around her and no one seems to pass through. Eric was worried about her. I felt bad for how he was treated. "She's fine. Eric, don't worry about her. I'll try to talk to her I promise, okay?" I assured him.

He slowly nodded before he walked away. I turn back to my baby daddy and gaze at him as he put back his notebooks into the locker. The more I stare at his features, the more I realise Zack is not a boy anymore.

He had grown into those manly features, his bone structure was fine and perfectly symmetrical. It was as if as he grows older, his inner beauty showed on his face. He had tousled dark brown hair, which was thick and lustrous. His usually playful smile had drawn into a hard line across his face.

"It's rude to stare, you know?" He said without looking up.

I didn't bother to take my eyes off him. "Yeah, I know but we need to talk." He didn't say anything so I continued. "You were absent at the counselling and you refused to answer my calls. What the fuck did I do wrong?"

He slammed his locker shut and set his eyes on me. "You happened. You ruin everything you fucking step on. Get out of my way."

Unfortunately, some people don't know when to show up. Jenna fucking Coleman appeared out of the blue with a stupid smile plastered on her face. She didn't dare to look my way or rather, she acted as if I wasn't there. Instead, she smiles at Zack as if he were her boyfriend.

"Hey. We have history now. Are you coming?" She asked.

Zack smirked at me, knowing how irritated I was. "Sure." He replied before he gave me a final glance. There was a mischievous glint in his eyes as he annoyingly stared at me briefly. Quickly, he wrapped an arm around Jenna's shoulders and they walked away.

I don't know how to describe this negative feelings inside me. Steam was probably coming out of my ears and my invisible hoofs dug into the floor. But then, I have to admit I was miserable. Once again, Jenna's winning the game and I can't let her. She won the battle against Cole but I can't let her win mine.

"Daisy!" I heard Korbin's voice a few feet away called out.

He was panting heavily when he approached me. I heard the bell rang indicating the beginning of classes. Korbin looked a little bit nervous and kept on scratching the back of his head. My eyebrows rose up and I stared at him with a questioning look.

"Hey, Korbin! You better hurry because I don't want to be late to class." I said.

He chuckled nervously which made me more confused. "I promise it won't take long. Just a few seconds." I nodded my head in approval. He cleared his voice before he began speaking. "I asked this girl out on a date."

The corners of my lips quirked up at the revelation. "Naughty boy. Finally man up and ask a girl out. Proud of you."

He gave me a blank expression. "I know but it isn't just any other girl. It's Jenna."

I refused to let the resentment show in my face. Instead, my expression remained impassive. "So, what's the problem?"

He sighed deeply to calm down. "You and Jenna are like enemies and I really don't want to come between you two. You became my friend first before I asked her out. It would be betrayal if I start dating the enemy of my close friend. I just want the permission, to know whether you're comfortable with it or not."

This was one of the sweetest moments of my life. I felt happy and proud to know he considers me as a close friend. And I definitely don't want to disappoint him.

"That's so sweet of you, Korbin but my permission doesn't matters here. If you insist, then I don't mind it at all. You can be with any girl you want as long as you like her. I just hope that you don't get hurt in the process. She might be a bitch to me but I know she would never hurt you. Enjoy your life, Korbin."

"Thanks." He gave me a huge smile. "Means a lot. Now I'm more confident than ever. You owe me a hundred dollar." He joked as he walked away.

I smile and shook my head. It was then I saw Abigail staring intensely at his fading figure. There was something in her eyes I couldn't help but chuckle about. Immediately, she spun to me.

"What? Why are you laughing at me?" She said accusingly.

"You like Korbin. Wow! I'm completely taken aback." I continued to chuckle at her.

Her eyes widens and she opens her mouth to say something but then starts stuttering. "How... What are you talking about? Of all the boys, Korbin? Really? No, I don't like him. That stupid nerd doesn't deserve me."

"You can say whatever you want but I know you well. You like him." I stated firmly and left her no other choice but to accept it.

"Alright! I do. I thought he likes me too but I was wrong. I can't believe he chose that bitch over a fine girl like me. All the boys want to date me and I'm confident about my body." She hissed in defeat and raised her hands in the air.

I finally grab a hold of myself and stop giggling. "But I'm glad you have the confidence."

She smirked. "Hell yeah. Now let's push that aside and leave for class before we get into trouble."

When I'm with my friends, I totally forget about all my dilemmas.
