“Wait a minute, Jenna was the one who confirmed the cheating scandal?” I impatiently stared at her in disbelief.

Naomi looks down in shame. “yeah. She said that day, your parents were out of town,” she was referring to Daisy. “And it was just you and her. You went out partying that night and came back with a very drunk Owen.”

Daisy gave a little chuckle and lean back against her chair. “Funny. The last time I went to a party was the day I got pregnant. I didn't even go to the party and I don't even know who Owen was. Your boyfriend's infidelity... ”

“Ex boyfriend please.” Naomi corrected.

Daisy shrugged and continues. “Your ex boyfriend's infidelity happened only a couple of weeks ago. How can a pregnant woman drink alcohol while pregnant?”

“She said you weren't drunk. She tried to stop you - as she claimed - but to no avail.”

Daisy doesn't have to prove to me about Jenna Coleman anymore. The truth is finally unraveling itself from it's twist of mysteries. Jenna played not just me but her close friends. Since the day Naomi found out about her boyfriend's infidelity, she became best friends with Jenna and Kayla, thinking they were the innocent. Except they're the villains all along.

“All you're saying was true.” Naomi said gazing at Daisy with amusement clear as the day in her eyes. “You said she's a hypocrite, a manipulator and damn is she.”

“So, Jenna lied to you about Owen and Daisy to hide Kayla's identity?” I was trying to clarify things.

Naomi nodded. “And about Vanessa, it's a long shitty story.” she rolled her eyes in annoyance. “Her boyfriend didn't even cheat. She thought he did and blamed all her anger on you.”

Daisy cursed under her breath and lazily glare at Naomi. “what the fuck is wrong with you girls? Whatever happens, you always blame me! In fact, you got back together with your boyfriend after he slept with me but you dump him when you realise it wasn't me. Fuck... I'm out of here.” She grabbed her bag, got up and left, ignoring our calls.

I paid the money and was about to go after her when Naomi stopped me. “Please Zack, I'm really sorry. Daisy has always being innocent. She was the victim all along. I know they're hiding something and we need to find it before it's too late. You have to be careful because Jenna can put up an act anytime to get what she wants.”

Her words chilled me to the bone but I said nothing. I simply nodded and ran after Daisy. She was already waiting by the car, pacing impatiently. But l was too late for Daisy has already built a new wall with her lonely on the other side. Her expression was blank and she didn't look at me. Instead, she kept her gaze on the ground.

“We have to hurry. I don't want us to be late for the counseling.” She got inside the car and I follow suit.

I try to reason with what Naomi said. One thing remains unsolved after all; if Jenna doesn't go to parties, then how did she know Daisy was at the party? I'm totally confused about what happened. I only have two missions though - find out what happened that night and who the fuck Cole is.

“Mum and Dad went on a date - as they described it - but I know they're just giving us space so we could read peacefully. ” Jenna said with a chuckle as she leads me upstairs to her room.

I return back the smile but said nothing. I was going to cancel the group reading but because I wanted to see if I can find something about Cole I refused to. Daisy was not home. She went to check in her estranged best friend, Jupiter.
