Xeno stood before her mother and several siblings surrounded by dozens ovomorphs, who at that moment in time were very docile towards her. They hissed and growled as they conversed.
"Hello mother, I have returned." She chittered.
"Welcome daughter, may I ask what host you were born from? You seem much different than any of your siblings." The Queen hisses.
"Something known as a Yautja." Xeno replied.
"Oh wonderful! One of our greatest enemies has fallen." The Queen roared in victory, followed by the rest of the hive.
The purple xenomorph was confused as to what her mother meant, as Kritos had shown her kindness and respect. Xeno stood at full height with her head tilted, the Queen sensed her offsprings peculiar behavior.
"What is wrong, my child? You do not seem excited as I was expecting."
"Yautja are our enemies? But I met 2 others after I was born, they were known as Kritos and Karna. Neither of them harmed me." She said.
"Ah, so you killed them?" Her mother asked.
"Well no. But I felt a connection to them somehow, like I was one of them. So when one of them was about to get killed, I saved him by eating his threat or a facehugger." The xenomorph answered.
Her mother and the rest of the hive went silent, stunned at her response.
"Get out." The Queen growled.
She was shocked, "Wh-What? Mother-"
"SILENCE!! Leave this hive, NOW! You are no longer welcome here!!" The Queen roared.
Xeno flinched and ran off, hurt by her mother's words.
"My children, KILL HER!" Her mother screeched.
Xeno was stood at the entrance of the nest, her current weapons in hand. The scent of Xenomorphs was sickening, she growled, angered by the memory from nearly a week prior. She had made the mistake of admitting that she had eaten one of her own as well as saving Kritos from becoming a host, preventing one of the most powerful alien drones to be born.
The serpent was beginning to have second thoughts. The human part of her was telling her that it was wrong, but the Yautja side of her was saying it would be doing the right thing. The honorable warrior within her as well as her hatred overpowered the sliver of common sense, and she entered the hive.
The Queen lifted her head, sensing the vibrations from Xenos movements within the nest as well as catching her scent. She growled angrily and summoned the Praetorians, whom of which responded quickly to her call and entered her chamber. The Praetorians bowed to their Queen in matters of respect.
"You summoned us, Mother?" The Leader of the Praetorian guard chittered.
"She has returned, the traitor. I sense her movements and caught her scent, the main entrance. Send your troops to face her, and this time...bring me her head." The Queen hissed.
"Yes, Mother. Come my guard, let us end the traitor." The lead Praetorian growled to his troops.
The Praetorian guards then charged out of the Queens chamber to confront traitor, the mother went back to laying more eggs and resting herself. Little did the Queen or the guards know, Xeno was armed with weapons that would result in the destruction of the hive. Or that she was fully intent on doing so. Xeno was walking through a flooded tunnel as water dripped from the moist ceilings, she held the torch gun in one hand and the flare in the other.
