"Jowoon! Hyejin!!" Seyoung shouted from the bottom of the stairs.

"Dinner's ready!"

As those words left her mouth, Hyejin and Jowoon dashed down the stairs, already in their pyjamas, Hyejin wearing a black hoodie and some shorts, while Jowoon wore sweatpants and a white tee.

"I already brushed my teeth but I'll just brush them again,I guess" Hyejin blurted out.

"Aww...sorry but it's not my fault you forgot about dinner" Seyoung replied playfully, giggling.

Hyejin rolled her eyes as she walked to the table.

Her brother laughed,"I am,frankly, not sorry...sorry!" he snickered at himself and sat down across from his sister.

Hyejin rolled up the sleeves of her hoodie and stabbed a fork into the beef on her plate angrily as she glared at the boy.

Jowoon munched happily as he witnessed his sister's expression,holding back a chuckle.

"Hyejin,cut your brother some slack and just enjoy the food" Seyoung said as she cut up her food.

"HyEjiN cUt yoUr bRoThEr sOmE slAcK aNd jUsT eNjOy tHe fOoD" Hyejin said under her breath.

Jowoon let out a stifled laugh which made Hyejin glare at him as she chewed a piece of meat in her mouth.

"So....Aunt Seyoung,when are we gonna start school" Jowoon said,his mouth filled with rice.

"Yeah,when are we going?" Hyejin continued,looking up from her plate.

"You guys are already registered. Your mom said your first day is on the 14th,so,like, five days after summer ends. You'll get those days off, I guess"

The twins nodded slowly before looking back down at their plates.

Buzz. Buzz.

Seyoung's phone buzzed,breaking the silence.

She looked at the screen and stood up,"Hold on guys, it's your mom" she said before going out to the terrace.

The twins kept eating their food until their aunt came back inside.

They looked up at Seyoung with curious gazes.

"Hyejin-ah, your mom says she wants to talk to you" Seyoung says as she takes the phone off her ear.

Hyejin sticks her tongue out at her brother,"Hah! Mom wants to talk to me and not you!".

"She said she wanted to talk to Jowoon as well. So when you're done,give the phone to him,yeah?"

Jowoon smirks while Hyejin just rolls her eyes; it was probably the hundredth time she did it today.

She walks out the door and to the terrace while holding the phone up to her ear.

"Hi hun" Haneul said cheerfully to her daughter.

"Hey mom. What's up?" Hyejin said, pulling her hood over her head.

"Just wanted to see how you were doing...." she paused,as if she wanted to say something but was trying to remember it.

"I'm doing goo-"

"Oh! And Taeyong's mother called. Said she told her son about you being back. You should call him,ya know,to catch up" Haneul interrupted.

"Oh! Yeah! I was planning on calling today but there was just a lot going on, I didn't have time... I'll do it tomorrow,for sure" Hyejin said as a wide smile spread across her face.
