"J-Jackson?"
I was shocked. Jackson was the Chinese kid who had moved in next door to me when my father was still around. I hadn't seen him in ages, after I had to move in with my grandmother.
"So, how's it been? I haven't seen you since we were preteens!"
"It honestly could be better. I'm in a rough situation right now. I'm actually out with my friends right now, do you think we can catch up some other time?"
"Sure, whenever you're free. Can I get your number so we can schedule our meeting place?"
"Yea, that's fine with me."
We exchange numbers, then catch up a bit on what we missed. I hadn't noticed that Taehyung had left us alone to continue our conversation, until I heard Jin calling me.
"Hey, Y/N! We're going back to the dorm now, are you coming with us?"
"Yea I am, just give me a minute.'
We wrap up our conversation, finally bidding our goodbyes, and I pile into the van with the rest of BTS. I can't help but notice that Taehyung still seems down. I wonder what he had to say?
At The Bangtan House.....
Everyone just disperses off to their own activities when we reach home. Yoongi goes off with Amara to their shared bedroom, Jin, Jungkook and Jimin start making an EAT JIN live, While Namjoon and Hoseok go to their recording studio to work on their mixtapes. Taehyung goes straight to his room silently. Since Taehyung and I hadn't finished our conversation, I decided to follow him to his room, to find what he wanted to tell me before Jackson interrupted.
"What are you doing in here? Shouldn't you be with the others and Jackson?" He coldly remarked.
"Look Taehyung, I'm sorry that you didn't get to finish what you were saying earlier in the park. I was so caught up with my best friend who I had known for many years, I forgot what you were about to tell me. I understand that you are going through a tough time, but back then, I had struggles too. He was the one who helped me, who believed in me and listened to me, even when I sounded crazy. He was the one who always helped me up when I was down, and never asked for anything in return. I am sorry for that and I'm here to listen to what you have to say now."
"All is forgiven." He smiles. " Want to go to a restaurant nearby to talk? We can talk about anything we want, our troubles, likes and dislikes, our loved ones-"
"Okay okay! I would go with you but there is one issue. You remember the reason why I am even staying at the Bangtan house in the first place?"
"Yea, what about it? What does that have to do with dinner?"
"What I'm trying to say is that I'm tight on money right now, and won't be able to chip much money in to this dinner. Are you okay with that? We can always eat what Jin is cooking."
"Nonsense! Of course I'm okay with it! Like you said, Jackson gave to you and expected nothing in return. You listening to me is enough in my opinion. Get ready, we're leaving in 1o."
Shit! Why when someone wants to invite me somewhere, they give me such late notice? I grumble in frustration as I run a quick, cool shower, letting the water droplets run down my body. After drying off and applying some cream to my skin, I quickly put on a casual, yellow dress decorated with flowers, apply some light makeup and perfume (optional) and run downstairs with my Jordan 12's.
