Chapter 28 ~ Rescue

Luna's POV

I attempted to stretch my sore body as I was still tied to the chair. I think it had been a couple of days by now. Some of the Titan gang members would come in and try to ask me questions about Levi, but I refused to answer anything. This, of course, earned me a few punches and kicks, also restriction of food and usually water. I was also exhausted because I was too scared and anxious to sleep, not to mention uncomfortable.

"Rise and shine." William, the guy from before, sing-songed as he came into the room. He was the main one to look after me. "Don't you look rough." He smirked at me.

I let my head hang as I closed my tired eyes. "I brought you breakfast." William said. I weakly pushed it away and he sighed. "Fine." He scowled and stomped back up the stairs.

I finally felt my consciousness start to drift into sleep when I heard multiple footsteps running down the stairs. Several gang members roughly untied me from the chair and kept me restrained in the corner of the room. I had no strength to fight back as I wondered what was going on.

I turned my head to the door as it was suddenly kicked down. I gasped and was filled with hope as he stood there. "Le... vi..." My hoarse voice got out.

"Shut up." A member tightly put a hand over my mouth. Levi stood by the door with guns in both hands and fully loaded everywhere else.

"Move." He threatened the gang members darkly. I had never seen this side of him before.

"Huh... Levi Ackerman." The boss came down the stairs wiping his now bloody lip, obviously Levi's doing.

"What do you want with her, Ben?" Levi basically growled at the man.

"It's not her, it's you." He smirked.

"Okay, what do you want with me?" Levi rolled his eyes.

"Come back." Ben got straight to the point. "I'll be honest, we're nothing without ya. Come back and have a little fun."

"Fun? Causing crime and hurt to others is fun?"

"Come on, Levi."

"Just give me my daughter back." Levi moved his gun closer to Ben.

"Only if-"

"I can help you." Levi said, his sincere side coming out. "I can show you all how to really live life. If I can do it, anyone can-"

"Shut up!" Ben yelled, his patience running out. "Either you join us, or..." I suddenly felt the cold metal of a knife against my throat and a gun barrel pressed against my temple. "What'll it be, Levi?" Ben smirked as he folded his hands behind his back. "What'll it be?"
