Chapter 44

Amber was making her way to the rehearsals as she enters the back and sees the manager, however, the manager doesn't look so pleased with Amber as he walked close to her.

Manager: WHERE WERE U!?

Amber was taken back as the manager yelled at her and his voice was indeed very loud that shocked Amber with surprised.

Amber: S- S- Sorry

Manager: DON'T YOU SORRY ME! 

The Manager hit Amber hard which made Amber cry a bit and she pulled out her phone and tries to call Alex. Amber tries to call Alex but the signal was too weak to make a call, leaving only the request of a voice mail for Amber. Amber through her whimpering made a voicemail for Alex and hopes that Alex will get it. 

Amber: Alex... Please pick up... Alex, We gotta leave! 

Amber was sad and hurt as the manager comes closer to her, Amber closes her eyes as the voicemail timer was about to end.

Amber: Please Answer...

From three blocks away from the area, in a nice decent household. Mike and Zoey were playing with building blocks with a boy with light brown hair and a girl with long black hair were watching tv where they are. The boy and girl were known as Nestor and Danella. 

Nestor: Wow, I can't believe Alex got kids, Not just him but Kevin too. 

Danella: I think they're cute and maybe one day you'll have the guts to ask your girlfriend

Nestor: Shut up! I'm not a wimp!

Danella: It sure sounds like it

Nestor: Raghhhhhhh!

Not far from the living room, In the kitchen is Alex, Kevin, And Abby being fed by their grandma from their mother's side of the family. 

Grandma: Awww look at you three all grown up.

Grandpa: As well as two are married.

Alex: Hehe, Thank you, grandpa

Kevin: Yes, I'm happy for you guys coming for Amber's concert 

Grandma: Of course, she is family since she and Alex have two adorable babies and they are married.

Grandpa: Your kids are cute too Kevin

Kevin: Hehe, Alex?

Alex: Yea Brother? 

Kevin: When do you think we can come over to Lily?

Alex: I don't know, Let me call her.

Alex takes out his phone and there he saw a notification that he has a voicemail. Alex taps the voicemail and after hearing it, he froze up and as he did, Kevin looks at him being still.

Kevin: Alex?! Are you ok!?!

As soon as Kevin finished his sentence, Alex got up his chair fast and runs down the block with sheer speed. Abby, Kevin, Sarah and the rest followed him as Danella was holding the babies in the baby carrier that Alex use to carry them. Meanwhile at the rehearsals, Amber was laying the floor with her leg being broken, she was only able to mumble one thing while talking through the pain.

Amber: A- A- Alex

Manager: Get up 

The Manager began to kick Amber and Amber whimpers in pain and looks at him.
