" This is almost definitely a terrible idea, but I won't know for certain until I've actually done it" - Jeremy

Jeremy Usbourne is one of the two protagonists in the television series Peep Show, and he is played by Robert Webb.

Personality
He is called a "work-shy freeloader" and lives in the spare room of Mark's flat. He is cowardly, juvenile, and quite arrogant but considers himself to be immensely talented and attractive. He is the more social and confident one compared to Mark.

Jobs
He is a wanna be musician then becomes a fake life coach. He is unemployed for most of the show but occasionally gets jobs that unfortunately don't last very long. He tends to be more sociable than Mark and generally cares more about their friendship.

Jeremy is a "so called" of a musician and claiming it often but never practicing or gigging. He is largely financially supported by his best friend and flatmate Mark through free rent and loans. He is also given money from his mother to pay for his phone as well as small bouts of employment in various areas including working as a Music Studio Receptionist with help from his friend super Hans, a call centre, a
legal secretary and a handy man. In series 8 he becomes a life coach after Mark gives him a forged diploma from a life-coaching board, giving assistance to almost anyone who can pay him. He usually because of influence from others and tries to get a proper job although he rarely passes the interview. Let alone keeping the job.

Love life (no spoilers)
He has been through numerous relationships, although most of them are with women who aren't directly interested in him. Jeremy has twice been diagnosed with Chlamydia once in series 3 and again in series 5. Although Jeremy primarily engages in heterosexual relationships, there are several instances of bisexual desires and experiences. He also admits to another character he has slept with more men than she has. He admits that he's neither gay nor straight, although refuses to define his sexuality outside of those broad terms.

Schooling
Like Mark, Jeremy comes from Kent and attended Dartmouth University and qualified as a nurse but does not appear to have spent long in the post. He seems to have very little actual medical knowledge. When he is informed that he might have clamydia in series 5 he needs to be informed about the side-effects of it.

My opinion of the character
Out of the two Jeremy is my favourite. He does dress similar to me and is a (kind of) nice character. When he cries I get emotional. Like I just wanna give him a hug and be like. It's gonna be ok. I don't know why but I think Jeremy is kinda cute...Not gonna lie. His style is great
