"Klaus put the dagger down" her voice was extremely stern and somewhat colder than it usually was, it was the voice Hayley used when one of the pack members, mainly Oliver started trying to act all big and bold like a mother disciplining her child.
And right now? Well right now as she stood in between Rebekah, Kol, Elijah and Klaus in the center of the Mikaelson compound her only thought was on preventing any dagger from piercing into any of their hearts. Her hand pressed onto Klaus's chest as she looked into his eyes, oh how they were filled with anger and rage the look which would obviously cause anyone fear including Kol himself. However Hayley of course was not afraid at all, she watched as from looking at her, Klaus slowly began looking to Rebekah, Elijah, and Kol with only one thought in mind. They had betrayed him and for that, they of course would pay.
"Look at me, not them, just me"
The original hybrids eyes slowly turned to Hayley as he saw that from his point of view, she was taking their side, the side of those who had betrayed him. He growled lowly as he looked at her in what he thought would scare her, however he was wrong of course. The hazel eyes that belonged to Hayley simply remained locked onto his ocean blue ones as he continued to growl.
"This isn't what it looks like...Klaus they're your family is this really what we're letting our Hope get used to? So she can end up like this?"
A small but sudden shift grew onto Klaus's eyes as for a second his eyes showed the emotion of realization quickly being stowed away as his anger again took control and he snapped back in a voice almost like a scream
"She can learn that people who betray her must pay the price family or not!"
Hayley's face expressions now changed as well as she furrowed her eyebrow giving him a bit of an upset yet questioning look.
"So if we ever do something she thinks of as betraying her we'll just raise her to dagger and throw us into coffins? Wow so much for not wanting her to end up like us huh?"
Klaus sighed under his breath as he looked to his siblings again trying to ignore what Hayley was saying as he tried pushing past her to no avail trying to not allow her words to sink into his head. They betrayed him, his own family, his siblings, Rebekah...his little sister and very secretly the favourite, Elijah which Klaus confided everything to, his most close allied partner, his best friend or so he had thought. No. Forgiveness and mercy were for the weak. Sadly in trying to overthrow Hayley with his thoughts Klaus proved unsuccessful as Hayley's last line struck him hard.
"You'd let her do something like that to you? To me?"
The original repeated that line to himself in his head as it echoed not seeing to go away, if it happened to himself if Hope was ever to dagger him then fine, it was not like he did not deserve it....but Hayley not her, never her, turning Hope into the monster he knew he was would be his end, something he would not be able to live nor deal with, knowing he had ruined a his little girl like that? Never, this was his one shot at doing better he knew he had to do better.
Slowly Klaus began to lower the now trembling right hand which clutched the dagger in it as Hayley slowly moved her other hand away from the Mikaelson siblings as she very slowly grabbed a hold of the dagger before she then snaked her arms around Klaus's shoulders as she quietly embraced him. At first of course he tensed at her touch but not too soon after his trembling hands found their way around the little wolf's waist as he pulled her closely.
"See? I knew you were better then that...."
whispered the words that escaped Hayley's lips as she looked up to Klaus, his eyes glossy when right then he let go of her and stepped away.
Lowering her hands, Hayley curiously looked at him as he looked into her eyes and sighed before he sped out of the compound. Leaving the siblings speechless to say the least as they looked at Hayley who was still looking to the direction Klaus had left."How...did you do that?" Rebekah asked in a slightly afraid whisper as she too trembled lightly.
"I'm...not sure" replied the little wolf as she looked down to the dagger she had in hand completely surprised as to the fact that 1 Klaus Mikaelson had actually listened to her or 2 that she would have wanted to remain in his warm embrace for always and forever.
