Bang Chan x Reader

Soulmates bonds- they were something special alright. Sometimes they were obvious as frick, but yours sure wasn't. You didn't even know if you had one.

You often found yourself wondering what they were like. Were they a boy or a girl? Where were they from? Hopefully Australia, otherwise the language barrier would be annoying to get around.

Favorite color?

Favorite food?

There were limitless possibilities and you had absolutely no clue what to think. You were both excited and extremely terrified at the prospect of soulmates.

You shook your head as you focused on the sound that had just appeared. Cursing, your fingers began flying across your computer keyboard.

In short, college essays sucked. The sound had been alerting that you had to submit your final essay in tonight. And of course being the amazing procrastinator you are, failed to write the darn thing before an hour before the deadline.

So here you were, pulling together the last of your mental stability and attempting to blitz your essay. Of course- this wasn't the best idea to do considering English was your worst subject. Maybe you could convince your parents that you didn't have to go to college?

Now that was a long shot.

Three hours later, you were dead laying on the floor, having sent in your crappy college essay. It was barely put together and the format was extremely messy. Thank gods for grammerly tho- it actually did you right for once.

Sighing, you rolled over to look at your phone. Seeing the time was 8:00 at night, you decided to drag your lazy butt outta the house.

You managed to look half decent as you trudged out onto the sidewalk in your pajamas. Honestly, you didn't care how you looked. The only reason you got out of the house was to walk to the ice cream parlor down the street.

The chocolate chip cookie dough craving was really starting to kick in. Quickly, you opened your phone and loaded social media. It was basically you just scrolling through recommended then liking random Pokemon memes.

A day in your life ladies and gents.

Entering the ice cream parlor you quickly purchased and payed for the chocolate chip cookie dough ice then left the store.

On your way back home, someone suddenly crashed into you. Cursing, you tripped and fell onto the sidewalk. Instinctively, you dropped your ice cream to brace your hands for impact.

You froze, staring at the ground where the ice cream lay leaking onto the sidewalk. A small wail of despair left you lips as you mourned your ruined ice cream. This wasn't how the day was supposed to go.

Deciding to take revenge on your ice cream you stood up abruptly and glare at the man who bumped into you. Eight other people stood behind him staring at you in shock.

The ice cream killer had vibrant pink hair and was wearing a white t-shirt. "How dare you!" You exclaimed causing him to flinch. "You murdered my ice cream you jerk!" You stamped your foot on the ground a bit childishly- but you didn't care the only joy in your life was gone.

"Uh-h your hair miss." He stuttered.

The glare intensified, "I don't care if I have a bed head. My ice cream is dead thanks to you." You berated getting up in his face.

He all but ignored you in favor of unlocking his phone and pulling up something. Flipping the phone to you, you saw the camera app pulled up. Staring back at you was- well you BUT WITH PINK HAIR.

THAT WASN'T NORMAL.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" You screeched flipping out. Your eyes fixated on the boy's hair before shifting back to the phone. Then back and forth.

A small chuckle escaped him as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. "My hair must be pink now too huh." Mutely, you nodded your head just staring at him. "This certainly wasn't the way I was expecting to meet my soulmate." A nervous laugh sounded.

Sighing you rubbed your face. Grabbing his hand you started hauling him back to the ice cream parlor. "I'm kidnapping you so you can get me ice cream then we can talk soulmate stuff mister."

You heard the laughter from the eight boys behind you.

"It's Chan." A noise of confusion left you. "My name, it's Chan."

"Y/N." You said. "Nice to meet you."
