After the Baudelaires and Duncan finally reunited with Duncan's siblings, Quigley and Isadora but there also new girl with them, Greta who happens to be Isadora's best friend according her words. Elwyn suggested that they all should go home now before Esme and Carmelita could come back to finish their business.

After they're arrived at home, Quigley and Isadora seem exhausted as they were just recently kidnapped by Esme and Carmelita about couple hours ago. To their surprised that Greta was there longer... Three days and she's look so worn out and needed a nap which the Baudelaires happily to give her some sleep as much as she need it so she slept in Violet's bedroom. While she slept through it, the rests sat down and decided to talk... Sunny and Beatrice was left the room to give adults and teenages ish some privacy.

"Hang on, wait? Elwyn is your uncle?" Quigley asked sound surprised.

"Yeah he is... Right?" Violet asked.

"Absolutely." Elwyn said smile.

"How come you never recognized him?" Isadora asked frown...

"Last time I saw him, I was ten years old and Klaus was eight." Violet said.

"Oh..." Isadora said with o mouth.

"But u-uncle... Where were you? Why did you stop seeing us and our family?" Klaus was unsure if he should called Elwyn, 'uncle' because he never see him for years...

"It's complicated. Your father and I've some disagree situation, so I stopped seeing you all." Elwyn said sighs...

"Did you know..." Klaus paused.

"Yes, your parents perished in the fire, I'm sorry about that." Elwyn apologize for his nephew and nieces losing their parent in the fire and left them become a orphans.

"How come Mr. Poe never left us under your care? You... As our the guardian?" Violet asked.

Elwyn sigh... "Children, like I said it's complicated." He said... Violet and Klaus look down, sad... Wishing want to know the real reason why. They didn't like how their parents kept something from them like VFD for example and why they never ever met all guardians before Mr. Poe took them to the guardian unexpectedly.

"I know the look, you wish want to know desperately..." Elwyn said, "your father was like that too." He added.

"I don't like when they don't tell us anything, including our guardians that we never met. I had enough of this." Violet admitted.

"I understand... But they're keeping you out of danger and protected you." Elwyn said raise his eyebrows.

"Well, it's seem they're failed." Violet said bitter and stormed away.

"Vio-" Elwyn started...

"Just leave it. She need some space." Klaus said look at the door where Violet has left the room, upset or possibly furious.

"Duncan, why don't you go talk to her? She's probably need you." Isadora said Duncan nodded as he leaves the room. Isadora turned and noticed, Quigley glares at her.

Isadora muttered quietly without everyone hear her, 'damn it!' she regretted for telling her brother Duncan to speak to Violet when she already knew that her other brother Quigley has feeling for Violet too. She mouthed to him without anyone noticed her as possible as she can, 'im so sorry.' she mouthed to him.

Quigley look down trying to avoid her eyes but he can feeling eyes on him. He excused, decided to go other room alone... To think.

"I really appreciate for your help and once for all. But as you see, this secret need to stop now because we knows about VFD and other things like liberally everything. Could you at least tell us? Yours situation with my father and everything... Like secret if you have one." Klaus said in possibly nice way just trying get his uncle words out and reveals his secret.

"I can't... I'm sorry." Elwyn said.

"Does it involve Count Olaf?" Isadora bluntly.

"Yes it does." Elwyn said.

"But he's dead. You can tell us now." Klaus said but Elwyn face change, like emotional after mentioned Count Olaf was dead... His faces changes to sadly.

Klaus, Isadora and Hector noticed his face change to sadden.

"Excuse me for a moment." Elwyn left the room, leaving everyone in confused of what really happening?

"Um... I'm so confused." Isadora admitted.

"Me either." Klaus said, "do you think they work together?" He added.

"Of course they are. They're members of VFD." Isadora said.

"No I meant, like Count Olaf's associates." Klaus said...

"Wait you think, your uncle was helping Count Olaf?" Isadora asked, surprised and wasn't expecting to hear this...

"What else could it be?" Klaus asked.

"Very true." Isadora said.

"What if they're friends?" Hector asked, finally spoke for first time.

"After what Count Olaf have done?" Klaus asked Hector shaking his head 'no'.

"Before... When they became members of VFD." Hector reason.

"He's probably right, I mean I heard your mother used to be friend with Count Olaf too." Isadora said...

"I guess you're right." Klaus said.
