Going Home...

Next day...

Everyone except Sunny and Beatrice who awaken, made their own breakfast. The Quagmires, Elwyn, Greta and Hector has to stay overnight as it's was late last night that they all stay up late, chatting. It's was difficult to find more spaces for them to sleep on, some on floor, one on couch and one in bathroom. (Don't ask... 😂)

Klaus has spoken to Violet last night before they went to bed, he was just telling her about their uncle and what he had said to Klaus. But still, Klaus need to know what on the earth is going on with his uncle who just stormed away well excused himself after mentioned Count Olaf was dead.

Klaus haven't slept a wink, he kept thinking what Hector and Isadora said about Elwyn, either he works for Count Olaf or he used to be friend with him? He really desperate need to know before everything goes side way like his uncle kidnap them or something but he knew he could never do that as he just saved his friends, the Quagmires and Greta.

Isadora can tell that Klaus haven't slept much and she was worried. She decided to talk to him later after everyone said their goodbyes to Greta as she need to go home before her parents thinks she's dead.

Elwyn decided to give Greta a lift to her home as he is only one who can drive. Klaus suggested he want to go on a ride round town for a while. He wasn't really doing that, he was making sure that Elwyn doesn't do anything stupid... He was thinking, what if his uncle really works for Count Olaf even he's dead? And he want to make sure that isn't true.

No one doesn't say anything about Klaus want to go on a ride but only one who can tell or guess is Isadora. She knew the reason why Klaus want to go on a ride is keeping her best friend safe and get her home safely.

Isadora sighs, she knows she need to talk to Klaus sooner rather than later.

With Elwyn, Klaus and Greta...

Elwyn in driver seat, driving on way to Greta's house. Klaus on Elwyn right side in his passenger seat, eyeing on him to make sure he doesn't react to anything. Greta in backseat, uncomfortable to silence sound.

"Uh... Thank you for a lift." Greta decided to break the silence.

"No problems." Elwyn said smile in mirror in front of him...

There was a silent again...

"Look, I'm really appreciate for what you did yesterday. Thank you for that." Greta said, Elwyn smile again.

"It's okay, no need thanks for me." He said...

Again, there was long silent...

"Look, I'm sorry. This silence is really annoying me." Greta finally admitted.

"Shall I put on music? Anything you likes?" Elwyn asked, Klaus still eyeing on him, never ever avoid his eyes.

"Uh sure. Anything I don't mind." Greta said smile as she start to notice Klaus been staring at Elwyn for whole time and she's wondered why?

Greta jump when music began to start, startled her...

After a hour ride...

Greta noticed the park, she used to go there when she was a little as she start to excited that she is nearly home.

"We're nearly there." Greta said as Elwyn turned off the music...

"Alright, show me the directions." Elwyn said sighs.

Greta start to show him the directions for a while until few minutes later...

"Just round corner and we're there." Greta said Elwyn turned his car round corner and slowing down until he get to Greta's house... Greta smile, she was happy to be home again.

They all got out of car, they heard door open, Greta turned round...

"Oh! My baby!" Greta's mother cried as she running down small steps and held her daughter in her arms but struggle to... As she's 6 months pregnant.

"I'm okay, mom." Greta said pull away, smile at her mother then she saw her father behind her mother back before pulling him into a hug...

"I don't know who you are but thank you for bringing my daughter home." The mother of Greta thanked Elwyn.

"It's nice to meet you and you're very welcome. I'm Elwyn Baudelaire." Elwyn smile as the mother of Greta just froze, then Greta's father did.

Klaus wondering why they seem to be froze after his uncle mentioned his names... Are they afraid of Elwyn? Did he really works for Count Olaf? He can't be... He just dropped off Greta at her house... This is so confused and it hurting his head.

"Did you kidnapped my daughter just to get know her?" The mother asked, Klaus was now curiously and Elwyn seem to be confused and have no idea what she was talking about?

"She was kidnapped but not by me." Elwyn said frown...

"He's right, mom. He saved me." Greta said...

"Oh okay. No reason but thank you anyway. We should get going now." The mother said decided to change subject and not want to answers if they questioned her why she said 'get to know her'...

"Of course... We should go now too." Elwyn said pat Klaus back, "let's go home." He added Klaus nodded as they walking away to get in a car.

"Come on, let's get inside." The father said to his daughter who already walked inside house...

"Honey, why didn't you tell him?" The father asked... The mother sighs.

"I don't want to lose our daughter." The mother whimpered...
