the accident

Sadie pov:
Finn eyes got red and ran out, leaving me in the state of ambiguity, I followed him, I screamed his name, but it was like he was in a different world, I don't know what has happened, but I knew one thing that something terrible has happened, very terrible.  He ran outside of the school, he went towards the crowd. Jacob was standing there, it was like he was crying, his car was just right there.
I peeped out and found, a guy was lying down, and Finn was crying, I gone through the crowd, and instead of asking Finn any question, I felt it's better to make him calm down.
Finn was panicking out,  he was saying only, call ambulance call ambulance.
Then Noah and Millie came towards us, and Millie was with a look of what's going on? Same with Noah, he was rubbing finn's back.
Before I could say anything, ambulance arrived, I don't know who called ambulance.
The two boys appeared and quickly lifted the person on the stretcher. The person was looking very familiar, but my mind was so messed up that I didn't try to remind myself who the person was, Finn got inside the ambulance, I went inside the ambulance too.
Millie and Noah, I'm going with Finn, please give our leave application to principal.
Finn has both hand on his face, he was crying, I took one of his hand in my hand.
Finn! Talk to me. Who this guy is?
Finn turned his face towards me,  I was able to see that his eyes were red, a red color that was darker than the color of blood.
Finn: my dad
My eyes widened
Eric?
Finn nodded.
Flashback
Eric : Sadie and Finn, let's go, we will have a ice cream.
Finn: yay
I hugged eric
I turned my head up to him,
Eric you are best.
Eric kneeled down and said : thank you my little angel.
I held his finger, and we walked.
Finn snapped me out of my thoughts.
Finn: Sadie we are here  ,let's go.
Two boys came and took Eric.
Time skip
After 10 minutes
We both were sitting in the hospital hall.
I turned to Finn
How did you get to know that Eric met with an accident, and if he lived here,then why didn't you live with him?
He was seeing downward now.
Eric told me before we went to Catalina Island, that he will be coming  to meet me, but he will not tell me the exact date, and he lives in Florida, I don't know who, but any unknown number was there who informed me about the accident of my dad and  remember when we transferred, after that, my mother and father always had a fight ,and they were not left with any other option but divorce.
I had met with a situation of choosing between my mother and dad.

I found Finn crying. I hugged Finn tightly, I was able to feel his tears falling on my neck.  I had one of my hands on his back of head, and one of my hand was on his back, as he was crying more, his grip on my top was getting more tighter.
That suddenly my phone rang, and we both got separated, it was of Millie.
Yes Millie
Millie : Jacob has got arrested for hitting the guy.
That guy is finn's dad, Eric.
What
Yes.
I saw doctor coming towards us,
Millie, I need to go, byee
Millie : byee
Finn: is he alright?
Doctor: yeah now he is out of danger,  but due to internal injury on head,  he  is still unconscious, and he needs rest.
Finn: when he will be discharged
Doctor: he needs rest, right now , so I think you can take him after a week.
Millie pov:
I'm still thinking that why Jacob said, "it wasn't me"
So I thought to investigate it.  I put on my spy suit and went to police station.
Jacob : Wh..who are you?
Um, I'm here to help you.  The accident that happened, it was really you?
Jacob: nooo, it wasn't me
