Today was the day that Ashley was coming home from camping, and needless to say, we didn't really know what to expect.
I hadn't seen Harry much since our adventures around the city and at the beach when I just saw him but we didn't talk. My understanding was that he was staying with some old friends.
Although I couldn't really complain, I was able to sleep in a bed which was fantastic.
I was debating on going back to my apartment and staying there for awhile. It seemed like the house was much too crowded, and with Ashley coming home it would be much worse. Plus I thoroughly enjoyed sleeping on a bed instead of a couch.
The plan for tonight was that we were going to go out for dinner and meet Harry and his parents at the restaurant, that way she wouldn't be able to freak out that much as we would be in a public place.
Ashley would be home in about three hours, meaning we all had some downtime before she would see the Styles family.
Harry had texted me and asked if I wanted to do something before dinner tonight, because I hadn't left the house in a couple days, I easily said yes.
He didn't tell me what he had planned other than I should dress comfortable, and today happened to be rainy so I assumed we wouldn't be doing anything outside.
I threw on leggings and a hoodie, said goodbye to my parents and walked out the door as soon as he texted me that he was here. He had gotten a rental car, even though I told him that he could use my Jeep but he declined as he didn't want to wreck it.
I hopped into the range rover and smiled at Harry. "It's been awhile, Styles,"
"Wow you're so cool, rhyming and shit,"
I laughed. "Where are we going?"
"You'll see,"
Harry pulled out of the driveway and started to drive off to wherever we were going.
He ended up driving us to Grand Central Station, which was odd because I didn't think that he would want to be anywhere that he could possibly be seen.
"Why are we here, Harry?"
"You'll see,"
"You've really gotta stop saying that,"
All he did was shrug and grab my hand, pulling me through the hundreds of people that were here. I had been here billions of times, and I wasn't sure what was so important that was here.
Harry made a swift left turn into an unlocked door, then through another door and we were met with a steep set of stairs. There was minimal lighting, and to be honest I was kind of scared.
"Look whose the axe murderer now," I scoffed, unsure of where he was taking me and what we were going to see.
Once down the stairs I realized that we were at Track 61, it was a set of train tracks and a few train cars that supposedly were used for important people to get away without the public seeing them.
It was one of those places you would read about online, but I was always too scared to come here as I didn't know if there would be any squatters.
"I figured that we could keep up with the patter of going to hidden gems, so I did some reseacrh and found this place. Oh, and I know how much of a history bug you are," He smiled, walking over to the first train car.
It was true, I was in love with learning about how things used to be, and even more so I loved being able to be around things that had a long history instead of reading about them in books.
