Before I knew it, we were in the Tokyo airport at two in the morning, saying goodbye.

This goodbye was different from the others. It was especially hard because we didn't know when we'd see each other again. In a month I'd be going to university and he'd be going on the second leg of the tour, there were many uncertainties this time.

I was terrified.

There was no way to tell when we'd be together next. At the beginning of July he had three shows in California, but by the time he got there I'd already be back at my parents house to spend the summer with them. Both of us were unsure of what would happen, only time would be able to tell.

"Flight number 4356 to JFK will begin boarding shortly." A voice was heard over the intercom.

I pulled Harry in for a hug, tears streaming down my face.

Harry kissed my forehead, tears welling in his eyes. We were both complete messes, crying in an airport at an ungodly hour of the morning.

"This isn't goodbye Bella. This is 'I'll see you later', okay? We're not saying goodbye forever." He spoke, his voice cracking.

"Thank you for everything Harry. I'm so happy I got to experience this with you... I'm going to miss you a lot."

"Flight 4356 to John F. Kennedy airport will now begin boarding seniors and those with children."

I took a deep breath, pulling him closer. I felt as if this was going to be the last time I saw him, it sucked.

"We'll text everyday and call whenever we can, okay love?"

"You promise?" I looked up at him, my eyes red and puffy from crying.

"I promise, baby." He kissed me on the forehead again.

"Flight 4356 to John F. Kennedy airport will now begin boarding those in first class."

We pulled in for one last hug, holding on for longer than we should have.

"I'll see you later, okay Bella?"

"See you later Harry. I love you." I pulled him in for a kiss.

"I love you too Bella. Let me know as soon as you land."

I nodded and wiped my face one last time, before grabbing my bag and heading to the gate.

I looked back at him one last time, seeing that he was still standing there, watching me with a sad smile on his face. I waved and he lightly waved back before I handed the lady my boarding pass and got onto the plane.

There ended up being a few people that were late so our departure was not exactly on time, but soon enough we were in the sky.

My body was exhausted, but my mind was wide awake. I was thinking about the last couple months I spent with Harry... I could honestly say it was the best time of my life. He meant more to me than I could ever put into words, and the opportunities he gave to me were more than I could ever ask for. He was too good to me, I wasn't entirely sure I deserved it.

There were many times during the tour where I was able to show him my love in small ways, like buying his coffee or making meals for the both of us. I would wake him up with breakfast in bed or give him a back massage if he was sore from a show, and our other... endeavours.

It almost scared me that he could leave at any point. We'd come so far and I know I was invested completely, but sometimes I was scared he'd get bored or think that I wasn't giving him enough of myself. He reassured me constantly that wasn't the case, but it didn't always put my mind at ease.

I put my earbuds into my ears, trying to drown out my thoughts so I'd be able to sleep. My eyelids became heavy and I was soon able to find some comfort and fall asleep.

When the plane landed I let out a sigh of relief. During the fourteen hours I only slept for five, I was about to go crazy from the lack of sleep. Soon enough though, I'd be home and hopefully able to sleep in my bed.

As soon as the seatbelt light turned off I shot out of my seat with my carry on in hand, wanting to see my family and get home as soon as I possibly could.

I made my way through security and to the luggage area, eyeing the busy airport for my best friend.

Cheryl and I locked eyes, I immediately ran over to her, engulfing her in a tight hug.

"I missed you girly." She smiled wide.

"I missed you so much, Cher. I'm happy to be home." I let go of her. "Let's get my stuff and head out, I'm exhausted."

She laughed and said that she was going to pull her car up to the front while I waited. Thankfully, my bag was one of the first so I was able to grab it and go.

Walking into my house I was greeted with hugs and kisses, along with my mom insisting that I eat before I went to sleep.

We sat around the table, eating the soup my mom made before Cheryl left, and I decided to migrate to my room for the rest of the day.

'I'm home now. I love you, say hi to your parents for me and be safe.' Was the text I sent Harry before drifting into a dreamless sleep.
