The next few days felt so incredibly off, and I didn't know how much longer I would be able to deal with it.

I had gone from spending days at a time with Harry, to spending no time with him at all.

I missed him.

Not to mention, it felt like the entire situation happened so fast that I barely had time to blink. Of course we had known each other for years, but we were just getting to know each other again. The last thing I wanted to think about right now was being anything more than friends with Harry.

It really sucked, but I had to focus on work and starting my applications to University. I was only hoping that Harry would come around and talk to me at some point.

"Bella, we're all gonna go out after work, do you wanna join us?" Rick walked over to where I was standing, drying cups and putting them away.

"I'm not so sure if I should, we all know that me and drinking hasn't had the best outcomes lately," I shrugged.

When the pictures of Harry and I surfaced, I was bombarded with questions by my coworkers. Rick said he didn't want to hear about it anymore. I wasn't complaining about it though, more people had been coming in and asking for me, they wanted to know more about Harry.

"We can go for food? We haven't decided where we're going yet anyways,"

I shrugged, "Sure,"

"Awesome, when you're done we're just gonna meet outside." He smiled and walked away into his office.

The next couple hours of my shift were long and uneventful, except for the guy that was completely wasted at six and had to be escorted out by Rick.

By the end I was starving though, so I was glad we were going for dinner. Rick informed me that we eould be going to a cute little diner that actually wasn't too far from my parents house, which would have been convenient if I was staying with them still.

I made a mental note to call my mom in a couple days to make plans with her and my dad, I missed them a lot.

We met in the parking lot after our shifts ended like Rick said, except it was only him and I.

"Where's everyone else?" I questioned, confused as to why it was only the two of us.

"Jeremy and Steph cancelled, Maria was tired and said she wanted to go home. Are you okay with it being just us?"

"Yeah of course," I only agreed to go because everyone else was going and I didn't want to be the odd one out. To be honest I was tired, I really just wanted to go home and sleep.

"Okay, I'll meet you there? If you don't know directions just follow me."

I nodded and got into my car, waiting for Rick to pull out of the lot before me. I knew how to get there, I just didn't want him to be tail-gating me the entire time.

We got to the diner safe and sound. Rick held the door open for me and I gave him a small 'thank you'.

While the waitress was gathering our menus to take us to a table I heard a familiar voice, so I turned around and saw that Anne, Robin, Harry and Gemma were sitting at a table.

Of course the one time I go out for something that wasn't work related, Harry had to be there.

I quickly turned around, not wanting to be seen by them. It was too soon for me to see Harry, I was still so embarrased.

Rick and I were led to our table and took a seat. "I think I'm just gonna get an order of fries, I'm not that hungry," I spoke, eyeing the menu.

"Are you sure? I'm buying so get whatever you want." He flashed his pearly white teeth.
