Description: Ink takes care of Error who is blind. He can't see how she really feels even though she acts and sounds perfectly happy.
Error POV
I heard the door open and smiled. My Inky is home.
"Error, I'm home." She said.
I felt her hand on my cheek and kissed her palm. I heard her sweet happy laughter. It made me so happy to hear it.
She kissed me.
"What I wouldn't give to see that happy look on your face." I whispered.
She fell silent. I felt her tears fall on my hands before hearing her walk away. I know better than to say that. Stupid me.
Ink POV
I walked into our kitchen and just started bawling. It's my fault he's like this now.
If we hadn't had that fight all those years ago...hm.
Gradient came home from school with Pj. I put on a fake smile dried my tears.
They hugged me.
"Hi mom." Pj said.
Gradient didn't talk much but that's ok. I know he loves us. He did look a bit concerned when he looked at me though.
I went back to Error.
"Inky I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you upset."
"No, I-its my fault. I caused this." I whispered.
"Why do you keep thinking that? I keep telling you it's nobody's fault."
I hugged him. He hugged back.
"I love you..."
"...I love you to."
I woke up in bed, alone. I frantically look around for Error. I see he's asleep on the floor. I smiled and rolled off the bed on top of him.
That woke him up.
"Ink?"
"Yeah. It's me."
He kissed me. I laughed and got up, helping him up as well.
I helped him downstairs and Gradient was drawing on the couch.
He waved to me. I smiled and waved back.
"Where's your brother?" I asked.
He pointed up to their room and went back to his tablet.
Error talked to me while I was thinking. I really wasn't listening like I should've but, I got the basics of what he was saying.
Dream texted me. I have to go fight.
"I'll be right back. Dream says we gotta go fight. Don't go anywhere. Last time you almost gave me a heart attack." I said.
"What if I come with you?"
"No. I can't have you getting hurt."
He sighed and nodded so I went through a portal. The moment I stepped out a hand covered my mouth and 'nose'.
I struggled but they were strong. I felt something tighten around my body and I passed out.
