The harsh smell of cigarettes and gasoline awoke Chunja from her sleepless slumber. There was also an undertone of something that smelled... metallic?

Observing her surroundings, Chunja found herself tied to a metal chair in the middle of a rusty room.

The room looked like it'd been through war and back with its scratched up walls and what seems to be bullet holes.

The scratches were too large to be that of a human or knife.

No. They looked the size of a bear's.

And was that blood? That explains the metal smell.

oh my god.  oh my goD i'M GOINg tO diE

Chunja started struggling against her metal restraints to no avail.

Through her struggle, she'd moved slightly forward towards the rusted door.

Stopping, she could hear some mumbling.

She could just about hear the conversation her captors were having outside the door.

.....they can talk. That's nice.

Chunja could care less about the conversation, however, the topic seemed to peak her interest as she listened on.

The two stone warriors that stood guard for their captor's cell were in the middle of discussing something very important. The one that was hit in the crotch had left, courtesy of orders from the higher ups.

"I don't know why we let him get so rude with us," the one on the left stated.

"I don't know either, man. He can be such an ass sometimes. Always telling me to get this and that. Bitch, please," the one on the left agreed.

"But you still wait on him hand and foot, Kyle. Don't act like you don't fear him. We all do." The first one seemingly would have rolled his eyes if they were distinctly on his face.

"Maybe it's 'cause he's got that type of name. His name, Blake, sounds so badass. I mean, Hoshi and Kyle are so normal," Kyle said.

"Yeah, maybe we just gotta come up with new names. I could be..... Snake."

"What the hell? Really? Snake? Nah, it's gotta be more memorable like maybe.... Kapow for you and..... Kerplunk for me?"

"Okay, okay. I see you. That's good. That's good. YeaH."

"Aye so Kapow and Kerplunk reporting foR duTy-"

"What are you numbskulls doing?! I told you to keep a watch on the captive, Koyl and Hoti," a gruff voice interrupted.

"Ahem, it's Kerplunk and Kapow now, Blake. Although those weren't our names in the first place," Kyle said, murmuring the last part rather aggressively under his breath.

"Got something else to say to my face, Kerfunk?" Blake threatened.

Quivering in his armor, Hoshi-now-named-Kapow answered for him.

"N-no sir. He is just not used to all of the dust down here so he's coughing haha," Kapow laughed nervously.

Blade grunted and walked away to yell at someone else on the other side of the place.

Cutting back to Chunja, you can see her rolling her eyes at what she just heard while scanning the room for possible escape routes.

Smiling to herself and mentally slapping herself for not noticing the tool table in the far corner of the room earlier, Chunja started to shuffle her chair towards the corner.

However, because the chair was metal and scratched against the floor, her attempts didn't go unnoticed.

"Yo my man, did ya hear that?"

"What?"

Just then Kerplunk heard the metal scratching again.

"That you dumbass."

"Oh shit yeah. We should probably check that out, right?"

"Umm, no duh."

Walking into the room, the two soldiers caught Chunja red handed with the pliers in her mouth and her back facing the tool table. In her hands, there was a thin metal rod that she was currently using to unlock her cuffs.

"C'mon... Just a little more.." Chunja muttered as her hands worked furiously behind her, set on freeing herself despite the painful marks she was causing to her delicate wrists.

Just as she heard the click the signified her freedom, her wrists were grabbed harshly.

Turning her head to the side, she saw Kapow glaring at her and Kerplunk holding her wrists.

What the fuCK. GODDAMNIT

"Ohohoho you thought you were slick? We're not that dumb. We can't have you escaping and ruining our chances of promotion, now can we?"

Despite the frankly ridiculous names, the previous humor heard in the conversation earlier was nonexistent in Kerplunk's voice.

The way he was grinning maliciously and staring into Chunja's eyes made her extremely uncomfortable.

A creak sounded at the entrance of the room.

Snapping their heads to the door, the trio saw Blake standing with his hands on his hips.

"The boss wants the prisoner. What are you guys doing in here? You guys are supposed to be outside," Blake asked, stabbing the air in the direction of outside. I'm gonna

The whole tough guy act dropped and Kerplunk stood as straight as a board, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck.

Luckily, Kapow saved his and his partner's sorry butts.

"We heard a racket inside and thought we'd take a look. Turns out it was her trying to escape," he said, mentally patting himself on the back for the excuse.

"Uh huh. Okay. Well, pass her over. I've gotta deliver to boss."

Excuse you. I am not an object. I'm a humaN BEING- Chunja thought, refraining from voicing her thoughts as she didn't feel like dying at that moment.

Her thought process/rant was interrupted by the sound of heavy footsteps hitting the floor.

If Chunja's eyes widened when she saw Blake coming towards her.

Upon closer inspection, she confirmed that this one was the one that she'd kicked in the crotch.

That wasn't very reassuring.

Instead of uncuffing her and removing her from the metal chair, Blake chose to just carry the whole chair with Chunja in it.

Right before he picked her up, however, Blake pulled out a blindfold and tied it around her eyes.

"Can't have your pretty little eyes wandering all over the place, now can we, doll?" He twisted his lips into a vile smirk.

Well then. I'm in deep shit.
