A/N: so the things in this chapter is inspired by the lego thingy above. Just imagine a scarier, more realistic one.

.'.'.'.'.'.

Scratching his head sheepishly, a brown headed boy with dimples chose to speak up first.

As he spoke, he held out a hand, presumingly for Ayda to shake.

"I guess I should start first then. I'm Kim Namjoon, the Elemental Master of Earth and of Mind."

You'd think safe rooms are the place where you can hide from the life-threatening happenings in the world.

You'd think that they are a place where one can crawl into the corner and whisper quietly to oneself, worrying about loved ones and praying for their own safety freely.

You'd think that the thick boundaries of the metal door belonging to the Shin family's safe room would be enough to keep out unwanted ghastly horrors.

You'd think you wouldn't have to worry about anyone but your family and probably, maybe even a little, worry about yourself.

Well, that's exactly what Shin Chunja thought.

After being reassured that her husband and daughter would be fine while dealing with the monster in her house, Chunja had ran downstairs into the basement.

There, she found the familiar trapdoor in the corner, hidden away in the shadows.

When she climbed the ladder down, she went down the concrete hallway, took a right, and then went behind the metal door, entering the safe room.

The room resembled that of a bank vault.

It was a silver color and had a keypad and combination locks, which Chunja quickly solved.

Inside the room, there was another keypad and set of combination locks that when solved, will lock it from the inside.

In doing all of this, Chunja went to the far left corner of the room and sat down.

Although one should feel safe in this type of secure facility, she felt anything but.

Chunja couldn't help but have a very bad feeling about this day.

Because of this, she worried continuously about her family, thinking the bad feeling was about the demon upstairs.

Chunja knew that they could handle themselves but when she looked at their faces before leaving, she could tell that they'd never faced anything like that before.

Please be alright. I can't lose you guys too.

Chunja shot her eyes open at the speed of light.

She'd been resting her head on her knees while closing her eyes, forever thinking about her husband and daughter.

A bang on the door had awoken her.

Fear struck her frozen, but as she started contemplating more and more circumstances, she became frantic.

Both Devon and Ayda knew the passcode for the keypad and the combinations for the locks.
