after a couple of introductions from boys in y/n's new class, subaru akehoshi fathered the correct courage to talk to her. anzu was dying to meet the new female in school. not that she had a problem or found it bothersome to he the only girl but the fact that another female transferred was a blessing to the brunet (chestnut).
"trickstar? hmm...oh yeah!" y/n snapped her fingers, snapping her head back up at subaru and his three other friends. secretly in his eyes hid excitement and happiness that a famous individual recognized trickstar. "i heard of you guys. your music is inspiring~! anzu does a good job producing for you guys." y/n winked, passing said girl a sweet smile which she returned the friendly gesture.
"so you're a fan?" subaru gasped, eyes shining even more. hokuto sighed at his eagerness, despite already introducing each other, he still found subaru's excitement quite too much. "i guess you say that...hahaha..." y/n sheepishly rubbed the back of her hair. "well. you already got the entire class to like you, l/n. your first day is going pretty well, isn't it?" hokuto questioned, showing a crooked smile. "beyond well, hidaka!" y/n chirped. her enthusiasm was really one to applaud especially when meeting with new people.
"you're really bright, l/n. it's adorable!" subaru complimented, placing his hands on her clean desk. yuuki nodded once in agreement and a small blush crept on his cheeks. "akehoshi isn't wrong."
y/n chuckled contentedly. compliments weren't rare with y/n nowadays so she was used to flirting and praising. anzu saw their homeroom teacher walk in and immediately, she notified her friends. "see you after class, l/n." yuuki smiled. "sure." y/n watched them head to their seats in a small rush before homeroom started. her seat next to the window gave her a weird vibe that she couldn't brush off.

trickstar, anzu and y/n roamed the hallways during their lunch break. talking about the most important events in yumenosaki. explaining that the system wasn't fair enough and they are willingly wanting to change it. it motivated y/n for sure even her stomach did a flip from the anticipation.
"you guys...are truly inspiring." y/n gawked. subaru giggled, thanking her. "isara...right? eichi told me about you. so has your fellow unit members. your loyalty is remarkable. i hope you and me become good friends!" y/n threw her fists up childishly, sliding next to mao, who blushed from the closeness. "likewise."
subaru tapped y/n's shoulder. she turned her attention to the ginger. "ne ne~ transfer student, do you have any money i can use to buy a snack?" he asked innocently but his voice held desperate longing for money. y/n's lips parted to respond as she reached for her pocket. and much to subaru's heartiness, hokuto's stopped y/n by grabbing her hand. "why do you keep asking people for money, akehoshi? you even asked anzu the same on her first day. look, l/n. this guy's an idiot so i wouldn't get involve with him."
