My last visitor is Caitlin and out of all my friends this is what I am dreading the most. As soon as she walks in, her eyes red around the edges I feel my heart drop. With all she can she acts overly cheerful trying to act okay with the situation, she's not doing such a good job as Angela but she's trying and I guess that's her way of doing things.

"I got you some applications for Universities, I looked into ones that would appreciate your photography, mostly art schools. You have the grades."

She passes me over the pieces of paper and she actually has, she put effort into this and I understand why. I understand all of this, as much as I don't want to say goodbye, they don't either because they will have to come to my funeral, they will have to make a speech about the person I was and that's their time to say the soppy things. That's their time to cry and say how much they miss me but for now everybody is clinging to reality we have.

"That's really great, thank you so much."

"I've made some notes on the back as well, my personal favourites. I've looked into campuses and how much it is each term."

"That's really thoughtful, you didn't have to do all of this."

"Yes I did." With those words, I see the pain in her eyes and I hate that I am the one who has caused that misery.

"Next week I thought you could stop at mine at some point? Watch a movie or something?" She's biting her lip and not making eye contact with me anymore.

"I'd like that yes." I still reply to her question despite the fact that we both know it will not happen. The girls face crumbles slightly but she quickly tries to brush it off, jumping to her feet.

"I'm sorry it's short but I have to be off..."

"Wait." I walk to my bag and there is one picture of me that I have always kept. It was from when we first met and if I no longer had it I wanted Caitlin to have it.

"Look after this for me please? You can give it to me next week." She takes the picture and stares at it for a while before bending down and kissing me on the cheek. I see the tears in her eyes but as usual she refuses to let them fall.

"Goodbye Caitlin."

Caitlin almost runs out the door and I move back into my seat, as soon as the door is closed. I hear muffled cries on the other side and I sigh because I feel to blame.

"Goodbye Alayna."
