Chapter 5

Another day passed, Jay walked into his locker and Lloyd pops out, closing his door. "Ahh!! Lloyd!"Jay yelped, throwing himself back. "Jay!.." Lloyd bolted. "Sorry..." he added, then shook his head, glaring into him. "No!... Jay?!! How come Zane know? Why did you ever told him?" Lloyd asks angrily. "I can't keep secrets to myself Lloyd, I have to tell somebody about it, and why are you even hiding this? You're getting me worried, well the others haven't known yet." Jay reasoned. Lloyd sighs, calming himself down. "Actually Jay.... I'm scared..." Lloyd said faintly, ears forming into his eyes as he wiped it off before it would even fall. "Lloyd..." Jay hummed, rubbing his back. "Why?.... just tell me, what's wrong..." Jay said soft as possible, comforting Lloyd.

"Jay... I figured what my dad was planning.. it's hard to keep it for myself, but... my father will harm any of us if somethin will redirect his plans and he found out about Harumi's plans, and now she's guarded over time. I wanted to escape, and only in school dad wouldn't give an eye." Lloyd started to sob. Jay hugged him tightly, murmured his cursed words with Garmadon. "Don't worry Lloyd... we can think of something." Jay assured, "there's nothing you can do for it now Jay.. it's going to happen tomorrow night, and you guys will be off limits. I think I would probably say goodbye for this... there is no escape." Lloyd stammer, pulling back his nose. Suddenly, a shoe shrieked near them and followed with a bump into the ground. Both of them gasps, pulling away checking the corner of the hall beside them and saw nobody. "What was that?" Jay asks. "I think it is best that I'll be putting some space up between you guys starting this time, and I'm gonna say it... please tell them, you are bests of friends that I ever had since..." Jay shrugged, pulling his tears back, glaring at Lloyd. "Come on Lloyd... you're smarter than this! Don't you think we can handle your dad? We fought him before! We won't risk loosing you Lloyd, beside from being the green ninja." Jay said, shoving Lloyd to wake up. Lloyd shook his head, backing away, leaving a small paper into Jay, inserting it into his fists. Jay looked at the paper and back to Lloyd who is now running away as the bell rang for dismissal. Jay panted scared, then he opened the note.

Tell Kai I love him...

Jay paused, getting an idea inside his head, throwing the paper into his pocket. He don't have any plans of telling Kai that note, getting a better idea of bringing Kai into that mess. Jay tried to chase Lloyd outside the school yard and he was never to be found. Jay panted heavily looking for anyone he could trust and saw Nya getting herself out of the school door. He ran over her and panted, getting Nya worried. "Jay? Are you alright?" Nya asks. "No.... where are the others?" Jay asks, catching his breath, feeling his visions started to black out, pushing his hands into his knee. "Jay?.." Nya voice echoes as everything started twisting. He saw Cole step out the door and paused looking at him. "Jay!" Cole called out worriedly running into him as Jay passed out, sweat building all over his body.

Jay started to fall and Cole drifted on him, catching Jay's sides, pushing Cole down into his butt. Cole laid Jay's head into his tigh, snapping his cheeks gently, waking Jay up. "Jay!jay!! Can you hear me?.. buddy?!" Cole begun to shake, panicking, not knowing was was going on with Jay. The crowd begun to come closer, looking at them, murmuring into theirselves. "Jay.." Cole whispers, calming himself down. Jay breathed slowly, his eyes faintly opening. "Boulderbrain..." Jay murmured. Cole stood up, carrying Jay bridal style, bringing him into the clinic while Nya cleared the way with Kai they met in the hallway. They turned into the other side and went inside the clinic, laying Jay into a bed gently. "What happened?" The nurse rushed into them. "He just approached me panting and sweating heavily then passed out." Nya explained. The nurse nodded, getting his blood pressure monitor. Wrapping it around Jay's wrist which his face and neck is now popping red. The nurse analyzed the result.

"Mr. Walker is experiencing extreme high blood pressure. He just needs to rest for awhile until his blood pressure stablize." The nurse explains. The three of them sighs in relif. "What happened? Was he stressed lately or anything?.." The nurse asks. "We're not sure..." they replied. "Okay then, let him rest for awhile and give him a glass of water when he wakes up. I'm signing off." The nurse said leaving the room. Nya and Cole got irritated, eyes widened from the situation, sharing the same thought to each other. "Ok, thanks.." Kai retorted, leaving Nya confused as he tapped his sister to never say a thing.

Cole went down near Jay, pressing his arms beside him, getting close to him as he started to hum a laullaby, patting Jay's head while playinf in his hair. Kai took a glass of water from the dispenser and took a seat for all of them. Nya got furious, looking into his brother who has a faint and a just got shocked expression into his face mixed with a bit of rage. "Kai... say something..." Nya whispered. "I know what happened." Kai stammered airily. Zane came in to the room approaching Jay. "I heard what happened." He said and patted Jay's hand then took some pillows on the other beds, placing them into Jay's bed. "We should rise his head up for quick recovery and to reduce the tendency of hang over after regaining his conciousness." Zane explained. Cole smiled satisfactorily, "good thinking Zane" Cole said, raising Jay's head and his back as Zane placed some pillows underneath him and Cole settled Jay down gently, still unconcious and breathing deeply.

"Nya.... I heard everything what Lloyd told him earlier and I think that's the reason why he gor stressed..." Kai sighs, deeply troubled and anxious. He really likes Lloyd more than being like a little brother type relationship with him. He felt ad about it and some part, broken but not entirely, knowing Lloyd wouldn't like him back or anything, he pushed this feelings behind his head just to hold their friendship up. Kai glanced into Jay's pocket and insterted his hands a bit, discreetly as Nya was staring into Jay. Kai pulled out a piece of paper and kept it inside his hands, waiting patiently as he get himself casual with the others before heading himself out for an excuse.
