Chapter 8

"How'd you dance so well?" Cole asks, getting frustated. Jay shrugged, holding Cole's shoulders gently with their hands laced together. "I don't know, it comes up naturally." He said, now like leading Cole into the dance. "Should we... change positons?" Cole asks, getting estranged by his position, holding Jay's waist despite Jay is the one dragging him around the dance floor. "Why don't you take the lead?" Jay offered, stopping his friend's anxiousness. Cole blushed a bit, bitting his tounge in nervousness. "I-I don't exactly know how..." he confessed, sighing. "I won't judge, just go into the mood." Jay said, still not moving. Cole exhaled lowly, then stepped forward as he started to box over as they revolve around each other. "Now you're getting it!" Jay cheered as Cole managed to make their dance graceful, now doing the diamonds with the others. His eyes has a hint of seriousness, looking at Jay as he smiled back happily. Jay got flushed into his sincerity, the thing he could see in Cole right now. Smiling back at him then looked away, looking into a distance.

Cole's smile went down, seeing Jay no longer facing him. Frowning a bit as he looked down, feeling not much of a heat recieved from his partner. He looked back up at Cole and got confused of his look, not facing him, only facing into the ground. "C-cole?" Jay trembled. Cole looked up, facing him. "Yeah bud?" Cole asks. "Is everything.. okay?.." Jay asks as their dance went slower. "I'm not sure..." he said. "Why?" "I... I don't know Jay..." Cole softly says, growling a bit in his last word, wanting to pull off of Jay's grip, but instead, it subconciously got tighter by him in doing so.

Stop it Cole! Stop assuming! Just because you felt something towards him, you're going to take his actions back as a response of your question that you didn't ask. Your friendship could go into the line Cole thought to himself. "You're weird, dancing with me in this room." Cole smirked making Jay grin, taking their dance even more than usual.

Kai shifted himself off from one girl to another and until he got himself beside Lloyd who failed to notice him around. He waited patiently for his partner to let go as they danced beside each other. Soon enough, Kai shifted himself in front of Lloyd, confusing the other two girls as they pair up together, looking around and saw their partners nowhere.

Lloyd gasps, realizing he is now dancing with a man, smirking at him as he waltz their way, Kai leading him far into the edge. Lloyd pulled away as he glared into Kai, confused. "What the--??" He spoke. Kai pulled him into the door as they got themselves out of the room and into the terrace of the palace. Shutting the door and knowing the place they're in is empty, Kai pinned Lloyd's back into the wall as he pressed his lips into him, making him gasp into the kiss and shut his eyes.

Kai's hand pulled his mask off as th other pinning Lloyd down got overwhelmed from the kiss that he light up his hand, swirling a fire across Lloyd's wrist. He pulled it off as Lloyd grunted in pain, uttering his name "~Kai...." while his hand burned on green.

Kai didn't pull off as he kissed Lloyd even more, licking his lips for entrance. Lloyd felt his entire face heated up and his body got numb. Unable to hold up himself, he then moaned a bit then kissed Kai back. They both kissed passionately for a split second before Kai could smirk and pull away, leaving Lloyd with a blank expression. "I see that the son of the dark lord has interests into a man." Kai teased as Lloyd blushed, embarassed and as well as surprised to see him, unable to contain his smiles. He was out of words but then smirked as he pulled Kai back in, kissing him again as Kai took the dominace over Lloyd, bitting his lower lip before pulling out.

"I love you Lloyd..." Kai murmured. "I love you too Kai..." He replied as his face was brushed with red making Kai chuckle and kiss him once more time right into his cheek as they hugged each other tightly.

The two finished up their dancing as Cole looked around and saw Kai and Lloyd is nowhere to be found. "I think we missed our cue.." Cole awkwardly said, smiling into Jay. "Should we go now?" Cole nodded as they headed into the place where they entered, getting Nya's attentio and so as Zane who is talking into three girls who got charmed by his personality, giggling about the facts he would say as it confronted most of the girls as they got into a crucial talk. "I better go.." Zane said, smiling into them zaping out. "Bye Zane..." they said in unison with their giggles.

"Okay.. where's Kai?.." Nya asks only seeing Zane, Cole and Jay with her. "They're supposed to be here by now." Zane added. "Maybe they're figuring a way out from something." Cole spoke. Jay thought some of the memories to himself then gasps, remembering something. "I-" Nya zaps in, blabbering her thoughts. "If Kai heard everything about Lloyd's and Jay's conversation, don't we assume he might go into his rage again?" Nya asks. "Are you implying he's going to face Garmadon all to himself again?" Cole pouted, his scars started to glow. "H-hey, easy there..." Jay sooths him, rubbing his arms gently. Cole sighs a bit as his powers stops glowing. Jay got a little clingy and rested himself into Cole's arm while listening to Zane speaking up. "That is possible. We should go after him before he could get himself into trouble." They all nodded, except Cole who looked stuttering into his motion. They started to run into the hallway and off to some places inside the palace. "Cole.. why's your heart beating so fast? Are you scared?" Jay smirked. "S-scared?.. ha! there's ain't nothing of this world I'm afraid of!" He jerked. "Can you guys keep it down?" Nha spoke irritably. Jay bangs himself jerkily into Cole who did the same thing, looking at him sweetly.

One day Jay.. I'm going to tell you everything I've been keeping inside. But not just now. I'm still not ready to loose you as my friend. Cole thought, speaking into his head, knowing Jay would think of him as weird of having some feelings towards him.
