Chapter 18

Kai and Lloyd approached into Garmadon's mansion, right into the bushes, hiding theirselves. "Okay Kai..just as we planned, you go blend in he shadows while I get inside like a normal person." Lloyd said. Kai raised his brows a bit irritated. "Y-you know what I mean.." he scoofed, kissing Kai's cheek as he got himself out. Kai blushed a bit and blended himself into the shadows approaching into the window.

Lloyd stepped into the door as the guards gasps in his pressence, opening the door up. "My father?" Lloyd huskily asks. "Situation room" the guard replied. Lloyd walked into the hallways and approached the room, impolitely opening the door. "Dad!" He yelled angrily. "L-Lloyd?!" Garmadon got up, startled. "What are you doing here?" He asks getting up. "Where are my friends?" Lloyd asks huskily, "y-your friends? Pfftt. You have friends? Are you fine?" Garmadon chuckled making Lloyd glare into him angrily. Garmadon started to walk into the room, approaching Lloyd. "I'll tell you where your friends are... but in one condition." Garmadon teased. "Name it!" Lloyd growled lowly. "You'll carry up under my wings and run this business." Garmadon smirked. "Sure." Lloyd said humbly and cockiky. Garmadon raised his eye brows. "Is that it?" He asks. "Yeah.. I'll do it. I never said no before, did I?" Lloyd raised his brows. "I guess." Garmadon shrugged and ordered a general to release his friends.

Moments later, Cole, Jay and Nya walked in with plenty of bruises around their bodies. Lloyd gasps and shrugged it off, glaring into Garmadon. "You can now leave." Garmadon smiled oddly into them as they started to walk away, heading outside.

Soon, they got theirselves into the forests, near to the city in a few blocks away. "Did your father just let us go?" Cole asks blinking. "You know what? I don't care, as long as I'm free." Nya said cheerfully but a bit complaisant. "Nya!" Kai yelled running into his sister. "Kai!" Nya responded as Kai hugged his sister tightly. "You're all brusied up!" Kai growled murmuring Garmadon, maiking Lloyd frown a bit. "Kai.. don't.. I'm fine.. it's just bruises." Nya smiled assuring his brother who is glaring back into the forest. "It's not like an old bondage can't fix it" she added. "Why don't we head back into the monastery and patch ourselves up." They started to walk as Kai didn't follow. Lloyd frowned a bit and tapped Kai's shoulders. "Kai.. I'm sorry about my dad.." he said softly, in emphaty. "Lloyd. It's not your fault, it's Garmadon's. There is nothing drawing closer of you to him. It is just himself, not involving you.. you're in our side.." Kai paused and blushed, smiling a bit. "And mine.." he said softly, taking Lloyd's hand. Lloyd looked away, blushing madly. "Catch you later greenie, if you can keep up." Kai teased, nudging his fist a bit into Lloyd's cheek as he ran away as quick as possible.

Lloyd chuckled and is about to run, but his phone buzzed up. He picked his phone out and saw a message. Lloyd opened it and gasps, much for his surprise. There was no number and label of who it was. Multiple pictures were sent into him, Kai and him together at the cafe as they hold hand and sharing food, him holding in to Kai riding his motorcycle. Then a message appeared. "You don't want me to spread a rumor around green ninja, now don't you? Then do what you must." Lloyd shivered a bit, his heart pounding, fear spreading into him. He looked at Kai in now far distance running away from him. He shrugged to himself and ran away, catching up to Kai.

"We'll see your end point green ninja..." somebody murmured into the trees, looking at them as they ran away. He took his phone out and it was revealed, Lloyd was the green ninja, seeing the pin points of the location he went to. "Aren't you gonna tell Garmadon about it?" A figure behind him spoke. "Not right now. We'll make everything count in one revelation." He grinned and jumps off from his position, heading somewhere else.

Lloyd panted heavily holding into his knees, sweat pouring out off his face. A brush into the ground rolled after him and Kai went in front, kneeling. "Lloyd?" He asks getting worried, grasping his shoulder. Lloyd breathed out. "I-I'm fine... j-just.." Lloyd's breathing gone weak and dropped himself down, gladly, Kai got him into his arms. "Lloyd!" He grunted, tugging him close. Lloyd breathed weakly into his shoulder. "I'm f-fine... "he panted out. "No Lloyd. What's happening to you?" Kai groaned, getting nervous, keeping up Lloyd's face into him. "I-I'm-m... " Lloyd sighed and relaxed himself down. Kai begun to shook him up but Lloyd didn't responded. "Lloyd?.." he asks softly. "Lloyd!" He growled holding up his chin to see his face. He was shutting his eyes close and panting to himself weakly. "Don't worry Lloyd, I got you.." Kai purred and carried him up bridal style where Loyd's hands are kept into his chest, one of his hand palmed up into Kai's chest, feeling up his heart.

The red ninja begun to rush himself up into the monastery where they are few blocks away.

Minutes later, Kai bursted into the gates. "Sensei!!" He called out loudly in panic. Wu looked behind, standing into the other side of the place talking to Jay about what just happened. The gang gasps running up to Kai as he settled Lloyd to one of the rooms inside the monastery, laying him into the floor. Wu kneeled down and looked at him, holding up a tea. "Lloyd?.." he softly asks. "Drink this." He ordered, nearing the cup into his lips. Lloyd sips a bit of it as he panted heavily. "What happened to him Sensei?" Kai asks. "There's nothing to worry about, he's just in distress. We'll just let him rest." He said backing away as Jay followed with Nya. "What did you do Kai?!" Cole growled but only having in his mind that he's just asking. "Nothing! We just ran our way back here!" Kai whined. "But Lloyd wouldn't get stressed out or weak just by running." Cole said tapping his chin. "We should give Lloyd some time to rest." Zane spoke out before starting a fight between the two. Cole left as Zane pushed him outside. Kai stared at them then back to Lloyd kneeling down beside him. He started to stroke his head and whispered out. "L-Lloyd... I'm sorry.. if I was mad earlier.. I didn't mean to hurt you.. I.. I just... " he sighs then stared at him. "I'm sorry." Loyd took his other hand resting into the floor. "Kai.. it's alright.. I'm fine.. it's not your fault. I may just have lost track of my breathing." Loyd smiled weakly. Kai smiled back and kissed his forehead then whispered. "I love you Lloyd more than anything in existence." Lloyd smiled and closed his eyes. "I love you more Kai.." he murmured
