archer kid x half blind! reader

(Y/n)'s pov

I was walking through the creek, looking for something interesting. To be honest, I really wanted to go on an adventure. But I am blind in my left eye, so my boyfriend wouldn't let me. To be perfectly clear, I'm dating the boy widely known as 'The Archer Kid.' Dont be mistaken, he is a great guy, and he is super kind.... its just.... he is way too overprotective. He worries about my horrible depth perception and other things.

Point is, I was also trying to avoid him. I can't have him basically putting me under house arrest! As I walk through the creek, I hear something and I know I'm in trouble.

"There you are! I have been worried sick! You weren't at your house, and I checked with some of the groups. I couldn't find you anywhere! Do you know how dangerous it is for you?" My boyfriend scolded as he hugged me.

I look at him. "I appreciate the thought, but I have been getting restless. I always wanted to go on an adventure!"

He sighs and waits a moment before speaking. "Okay. I can see how important this is to you. How about we go find an adventure, but I get to keep you safe, okay?"

I give him a smile. "Okay. Where do we want to start? Craig and his friends normally get stuck in adventures."

He smiles slightly. "And they usually come out unscathed. Sounds good to me."

We look around for them for a while. We couldn't find them. But then I heard someone crying out for help. I sprint towards where the sound is coming from.

I see craig, kelsey, and j.p. being chased by a group of raccoons. despite my boyfriend's protests, I sprang into action. I ran between the three and the raccoons. I pulled out my pepper spray that I always have and sprayed the raccoons. They ran away and I turned around.

"You guys okay?" I asked. I put the pepper spray up and walked towards them to check on them.

Craig was the first to speak. "We're okay. Mostly. Just a few scratches, but that's it."

Kelsey smiled proudly. "Nothing a hero couldn't handle."

J.p. smiled. "Oh mana that was so scary! You saved our lives!"

My boyfriend ran over and grabbed my hand. He dragged me away. "What were you thinking?! You could have gotten seriously hurt!"

"Other kids were in trouble. I couldn't just stand by while they got attacked!" I said with tension in my voice.

He sighed. "I just dont want you to get hurt, but I can see where you are coming from."

I smiled softly at him and started to walk down a path. He walked with me. After a while of walking and chatting, we walked into the area where the ten speeds usually hung out. I heard someone yell "look out!" just before something hard collided with me.

Tje next thing I know, I'm on the ground, and a bunch of people are standing around me. One of them happens to be archer kid.

"Are you okay?!" He says, panicked. He helped me up. I had two large bruises on my arm and leg from where a bike crashed into me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little sore." I said with a nonchalant tone.

"We are getting you home immediately." He said with a demanding, yet caring voice.

I agreed as we walked to my house. When I sat on the couch, archer kid brought me a couple of ice packs. I played down on them so I wouldn't have to hold them. We spent the rest of the day on the couch and watching movies.
