(Y/n)'s pov

It was a pretty day. It was warm, but not too warm. There was a slight breeze that was just strong enough to let you know it was there. I hadn't seen a single dead plant, well, new dead plant at least. There was a part of the creek that no one else but me, tabitha, and courtney knew of. It was close to a very dangerous river, so I had no doubt that no one would have gone there anyway. Basically, us witches have known each other for our entire lives, and we hang out in this cool area that is hidden by weeping willows, vines, and a few other plants. I'm pretty sure that someone a long time ago designed it like this. It had to be a very long time ago because there was an old oak tree in the middle that im pretty sure is dead. I don't know a lot about trees, so I'm only guessing. I was sitting on one of the lower branches of said tree.

"Hey, (y/n)! We were just about to go get some food, wanna come with?" Tabitha called to me.

"Sure, one second." I hopped down from the tree and landed perfectly. I had a large dark (f/c) cloak on and always had the hood up, so I looked very intimidating when i stood up.

"Jeez, could you lose the cloak? You're even creepier than me." Courtney sighed.

"Sorry. No can do. It's the only chance I have at scaring people into doing what I say." I smiled back.

Courtney shook her head and started to walk away as me and tabitha followed. They started talking as I just lingered behind.

We were walking past the elder rock as I heard some annoyed voices.

"I can't do that, barry! It would easily deflect the fireball!" It sounded like elder mark.

"Well if you would hear me out, I have a specific plan on where to hit the dragon! If we rolled high enough, it would kill it for sure!" It sounded like elder barry.

With my curiosity overflowing, I went to investigate. I stopped before going in. "Elders of the creek, I ask for admission."

"You may enter." Mark said.

I hop down, my cloak draping around me in it's natural sinister way. I walk up to the table, making the elders visibly uncomfortable. I look at what's going on. "Elder David, may I ask where this battle is taking place?"

"A seventeenth century castle..." he replied while staying a safe distance.

"So am i correct to assume that there is a chandelier above the dragon?" I press on.

"Well... I guess so. It is a castle." He said.

"Elder mark. I have a plan that I believe would work, if you would like to know." I said.

He thinks about it for a moment. "I'm listening..."

"Well, judging by your stats, you could use the fireball elder Barry oh so desperately wants to melt the chain holding the chandelier. Basic knowledge tells us that a seventeenth century castles always wanted the largest and coolest chandelier, and the previous owner of the castle succeeded. That part is obvious, because why would a dragon want to steal a home from a poor person? The chandelier will then crush the dragon. And all this with rolling a five or higher." They said, clearly knowing a lot about the game and other random knowledge.

I was amazed. "David! I do what she says!" I then roll and land on a seven.

David was in shock. "You succeed... the dragon is crushed by the chandelier and you claim victory..."

I look at the cloaked mystery person. I wanted to get to know them, honestly. But I knew it couldn't last...

I heard the witches calling for me. "I have to go." I walk to the exit.

Mark steps forward. "Hey wait--"

"(Y/n). That's my name. You won't find it being whispered around the creek, so if you want to find me, you should just look around for yourself." I said then left.

Now I really want to get to know them. They are so cool! And how did they know what I was going to say? Are they in that witches group? I've seen them hang out. And the people who were calling them sounded like the witches.

"I think mark has a crush." Barry said in a teasing tone.

"Shut up, blockhead!" Though I couldn't deny it. They had stolen my heart and I wasn't intending on getting it back.
