I stood there for a good couple of minutes before anything actually happened. Just when I started to consider leaving, the door was swung open by an ecstatic looking girl with a pink bunny hood. There were hearts everywhere in her outfit. Red hearts in the ears of her hood, three on the back of her pink, Mickey Mouse looking gloves, two white hearts that served as buckles on her shoes, and white hearts scattered everywhere on her red skirt like they were polka dots. She looked like how I always imagined a personified Valentines Day to look. However she seemed to look a bit worn out as well. One of the ears of her hood was ripped open, causing balls of cotton to tumble out. Her colors also seemed remarkably distant, as if they were not as bright as they were supposed to be. It was strange seeing dark maroon in the Dream World.

She gasped. "Kyle!" a wide grin spread across her jovial face. Admittedly, it was a bit cute. "Oh my goodness, Kyle, you're here! Wow!" she giggled a bit. "Wow!" she repeated.

"Uhh..." was all I could manage to spit out.

"Oh, goodness gracious me! You're even cuter in person! And you're finally here! With me. Wow! I'm so excited to finally meet you! This should be... a wonderful experience." She clutched her cheeks with her hands, ruffling up her dark red hair.

"I-"

"Oh no, I'm so sorry about that. I got a bit too excited there, no? Oh gosh, I need to calm down." She took a deep breath and giggled a bit. Needless to say, I became very uncomfortable very quickly. This girl was clearly nuts. "I'm Cherry."

"I'm.. uhh, you know..."

"I sure do." Cherry looked at me longingly, and as I looked into her pink eyes, I realized her red pupils were shaped like hearts too. "You're Kyle. The prophecy boy. How could I not know you?" Then she murmured as if I couldn't hear, "Especially with that adorable face of yours. And those freckles. You're so tall, too. Golly, what a character."

I felt my cheeks get warm. Suddenly, I remembered Fudge's words about Cherry being a prophet or something, I didn't remember exactly though. I wasn't really paying attention. My chest clenched up. "So Cherry-"

Cherry squealed, her large, round eyes lighting up. "Yes, whatever would you like? Oh, excuse me, I should have let you in! How disgraceful of me! I apologize." Cherry moved out of the way of the door so I could walk in. Seeing no other choice, I sluggishly made my way inside the tree.

Well, the outside looked like a tree anyways. The inside looked like an old lady's home. Honestly, I kind of really liked it. The chocolate brown wooden walls and floor looked lovely next to the earthy colored yarn rugs and blankets strewn about the place. In the center of the kitchen was a woolly heart shaped rug, a different shade of red or pink with each strand of yarn. On top of it stood a little wooden table, two stumps on either side of it, Presumably used for seats.

"I could make you some tea, if you'd like." Cherry offered.

"Do you have peppermint tea?"

"Sure do."

"In that case, I'll have some." I said. Cherry grinned.

"Lovely. You may have a seat, Kyle. I'll get your tea started. Is there anything else I can get for you?"

"I'm good." I said as I sat down. "Actually... I would like something else."

"Oh, anything for you, Kyle!" Cherry exclaimed, clasping her gloved hands together. "Whatever might that be?"

"Information." I said. "What the heck is going on?!"

"Could you elaborate a bit, please?" Cherry asked, getting two pink teacups out of the cupboard.
