"Is anything wrong, dear?" Cherry asked Cassidy, who went silent and looked distraught.
"No! Everything's fine..." Cassidy responded, clutching tightly to her arm. She looked at me and said, "Kyle, you have powers, right? Couldn't you make us something to get to Caramel Castle a little more quickly so we don't have to walk all that way?"
"Oh. Uhhh..." I thought about her question for a bit before simply shrugging.
"What? What's that supposed to mean?!" Cassidy asked. "You can't do it?!"
"Well yeah, it's not like he knows everything." Luna stepped in. "If he were to make something to get us there faster, what would he even make? A car? Can any of us even drive? Oh, or how about an airplane? It's not like we can work one of those things either. It looks like we're just gonna have to man up and walk, and as stupid as that is, that's the best we can do. So are you just going to keep whining about it or what?!" Luna finished, delivering a sharp glare to Cassidy. Cassidy glared back for a few moments, but then sighed.
"I suppose you're correct. I apologize." She said.
"Um, question." Harou started. "Do castles hurt?"
"Of course not, idiot." Hati answered him. "That's where princesses live, and they don't get hurt unless it's by witches, so there." He said matter-of-factly.
"Oh no! Witches? Are we going to see any of those?" Harou asked, biting on his super sharp claws with his super sharp teeth.
"Good question." I answered. "Considering the bullshit this world put me through, I wouldn't be surprised if we did."
"Witches?" Luna snorted. "I mean, the closest we're going to get to a witch would be Lola Lollipop for sure."
"True that." I said.
"Well, Lola can be nice actually!' Cassidy said. "She was just misled as a child, poor thing."
"Of course YOU'D say that." Luna rolled her eyes. "Lola worshipped you like you were a god. At least she did when you were Candy."
"Oh, you think so?" Cassidy fumbled with her hands. "I mean, I wouldn't go that far..."
"Excuse me, not to interrupt, but I'd simply like to ask, what do we do now?" Cherry said. "It must be very late by now, there's no way we can continue to walk."
"We can find a house in Andromeda and stay there for the night." Cassidy suggested. "Then we can be all rested up and ready for the morning."
"So we can sleep?" Luna crossed her arms. "Yeah, that's always a good plan for me."
"Wait, you guys need sleep?" I asked them. "I thought you're all dead."
"Hey, WE aren't!" Hati said, as if that was insulting to him.
"Not yet, anyways..." Mumbled Harou.
"Perhaps we don't need sleep..." Cassidy smiled. "But it is nice. And since you three need it, we may as well do it all together or something."
"Where are we going to go for the night, though?" Luna asked, glancing around the colorless buildings.
"There, maybe?" I suggested, pointing towards a large building that simply said "HOTEL" that was at the end of the street.
"My, how conveniently placed." Cherry said. "Your work never fails to impress me, Cassidy."
"What do you mean, work?" Cassidy inquired. "You expect me to be proud of this?! It's terrible! I hate every second of this!" She kicked harshly at a rock, which effortlessly soared a few feet away from her in a manner that was almost majestic. Cassidy let out a howl of rage. "I hate this conveniently placed rock so much! STOP BEING CONVENIENT!" she stomped on the rock multiple times with as much force as she could muster.
