"Kyle!" I heard my mother shout from downstairs. I jumped out of bed, trembling.

"Coming!" I tried to shout back. I couldn't hear myself. "Huh? Hello?" I mouthed, not making a sound. "What the.." I turned around and faced my bed. Laying in my bed was... Me? I looked down at my hands. Pale blue. It was like looking in a mirror, only the other Kyle wasn't in the same position as I was. It was more like he was a clone of my real world self, while I, still in Dream World colors, acted as something similar to a ghost, floating just a few inches above the ground.

"Kyle!" My mom said again before I heard my dad mutter something about me not getting enough rest. I tried to shake the other Kyle, thinking maybe I could wake him up by doing so, and then wake myself up. My hands phased right through his body. I tried again, becoming impatient. Furious, almost. I couldn't feel him, though, and it seemed like that would be the case no matter how badly I wished for it not to be.

"Kyle, wake up!" This time, it wasn't my mom. I tried to figure out where the call was coming from. I turned around. "Come on, Kyle!" The voice said again. Coming from everywhere and nowhere, I decided it sounded so familiar. I felt something tug my arm, yet I saw nothing. All was suddenly black. My room vanished. I was the only thing in sight. A cold, brief sweat swept over me and before I knew it, I was sitting upright on a cave floor. I was back in the Dream World. And standing before me, tugging my arm, trying to get me to wake up was none other than my best and only friend.

"Luna!" I shouted, standing up, throwing my arms around her. She hugged me back. "Where were you? How did you get here?" I asked, relief flooding through me.

Luna let go of me. "Where were you? I was worried sick that Candy finally got to you! Augh! Don't scare me like that!" She socked me in the arm.

"Ow..." I rubbed my arm. "It's nice to see you again too."

"Answer me!" She stomped. I looked down at her. She must have been at least three feet shorter than me, but she could really punch.

"I don't know!" I said. "I was just in this weird white room and then Candy and the Candys tried to kill me then Fudge was driving me because Cherry asked him to and then I met Cherry and then she went nuts and chased me down a hole and I fell and I have powers and I went back to the real world for a bit I think but there were two of me for some reason and the other one was asleep and I was still blue-"

"Okay, okay! I'm sorry I asked!" Luna giggled. "Slow down. Breathe."

"Alright, I'm breathing." I took a deep breath, my heart still racing with joy.

"So, why don't you tell me a little more about those two?" Luna pointed a thumb towards the Hirolf twins, who slept like babies on the ground.

"Yeah, uhhh..." I could hardly think with all that was happening. "Uhh, I fell down this hole and... they were here. How did you get here?"

"Well, I went to Fudge."

"Fudge?"

"Yeah, he knows everything there is to know about this place. I figured he'd know where you went. So he told me about how he drove you to Cherry's. Then I went there, and Cherry told me you fell down this pit. So that's the story."

"Wait... Cherry knew I was down here. She knows how to get down here and out, because she's done that to visit the twins. So why didn't she come after me?"

"I asked her, you know. And she was all like.." Luna cleared her throat and did a funny voice. "I mustn't tamper with faaaaate or whatever."

I cracked up. "You sound just like her."
