"Betty Cooper is under Serpent protection now, and especially under my protection. She will be treasured and treated as a young woman should. If anyone dares to hurt her in any way, if that's even possible, they will answer to me." Jughead demanded once he was back down in the bar, all the Serpents surrounding him. "If you want to meet her, you can, but ask permission from me first. Is that clear?" The most nodded, only Tallboy had to say the last word.
"She's a fucking psycho Jones!" Jughead's temper rose to an impossible level as the words left his mouth, and within a second his hands were tightened around Tallboy's throat.
"Don't fucking mess with me, or her, Tallboy. You have no fucking clue what's going on." Jughead spatted right into his face, before letting go and giving Tallboy his air back. The man gasped for a few seconds before grumbling something and stomping out the bar.
"Anyone else got something to say about her?" No one dared to speak a word, even Sweet Pea looked at his friend in terror. "Thought so. You can go now."
Toni and Cheryl hurried over to Jughead, who sat down on a chair by the bar. "How is she doing? Did you talk to her?" Toni rushed to ask, her eyes hopeful.
"I tried telling her about what you, Cheryl, told us, but she's not really understanding because she can't physically feel those emotions. She then fell asleep and I laid her in bed." Toni smiled softly, and Chery just nodded.
"I got her medicine to help her keep the food inside, because she won't survive long without any vitamins or nutrients." The red head spoke, handing Jughead a bottle of white pills. "She needs to take one every morning and evening. If you give her one now and wait an hour, I think she will already be able to eat something."
"Alright, it's worth a shot." He said, grabbing the bottle out of Cheryl's hands. "First I gotta talk to Jellybean about something. I'll let Betty some sleep for a while, it seemed like she really needed it." He added before dissapearing out of the bar.

Once home, he found Jellybean in the kitchen with her new nanny, Mia. "Hey." Jughead said, entering the kitchen and dropping a kiss on Jellybean's forehead before sitting down beside her.
"Hey Juggie!" She said enthustiastically, giving him a short hug. Jughead shot a soft smile to Mia.
"Is she taking good care of you?" Jughead asked Jellybean in a teasing tone.
"Great! She's amazing." The brunette giggled, smiling toward Mia. Jughead shot Mia a soft smile as well.
"Thank you for taking such good care of her."
"It's no problem, she's the sweetest kid." Mia answered, handing both Jellybean and Jughead a plate filled with chopped up fruit and vegetables. Jughead gave her a confused look, "Seemed like you had a tough few days."
"Definetely right about that." He replied before stuffing the food in his mouth. "I actually had something I need to talk to you both about." He then began, taking a hand through his raven hair. "We're having someone who is moving in with us." His eyes were merely focused on Jellybean, who simply just shrugged her shoulders.
"Who?" She asked, continuing to eat her vitamins.
"It's a girl that me and some of the Serpents saved from a very bad person who wasn't nice to her. Now she needs to be taken care of, and I can't leave her alone at night. Since Cheryl and Toni live across the street from us, it's even easier, so they can help out whenever necessary." Jellybean looked slightly disoriented at her brother.
"Can I meet her?" The girl then proceeded to ask, taking another bit of her piece of apple.
"Of course you can, but you have to promise to be careful with her okay? She's fragile." Jughead said sternly.
