"Jughead Jones, what do you want?" Maya spoke through the phone, smirking as she held him on the line."I don't do this kind of thing, really I don't. I just need some money to take care of all my men." Maya sighed and rolled her eyes at his pathetic excuse.
"Don't care about your life. Just tell me what you want and where you can pick it up. I'm in business Mr. Jones." She said, her voice stern and not a trace of emotion found.
"Alright, I want it to be at.." Jughead started explaining what he wanted and where he could pick it up. For the first time he was actually nervous, he'd never dealt drugs before. He just really needed the money or else the Serpents wouldn't survive. A lot of them are in need of a home and he is the only one who can provide for them.
After a long conversation, the deal was settled. Tomorrow morning, 1 pm. He sighed as he put down the phone.
"I feel so stupid." He gritted, rubbing his hand over his head.
A few minutes later Jellybean came hopping in the room, settling herself on his lap. "Hey Juggie!" She squeaked, wrapping her arms around his torso.
It created a gently smile to form on Jughead's lips, as he held the girl close to his heart.

"Come with me." His hand was there again, out for her to reach. Gently she laid her tender hand in his, grasping onto it.
"Anywhere with you." She mumbled as he pulled her in for a warm embrace, his cologne all around her.
"I'll take care of you." He whispered, pressing the softest kiss to her head.
Her eyes fell open with a heavy breath as she sat up straight in bed. "Woah." She whispered into herself, her breathing fast and unsteady.
It was the green eyed male that had appeared in her dream, the man that had her captured for a second. The only one who ever got her distracted from her job.
"Elizabeth!" Maya yelled as she entered the dark room. Betty immediately folded her hands on her lap, her face unexpressive. "I just got myself another deal, and you know what to do when he screws me over." She nodded without a single thought. Hurt him, until he cries for mercy.
"He'll come here tomorrow at 1, so I need you to behave and sit silently in your room until he's gone." Betty didn't answer, didn't know what to say.
A kick in her stomach from one of Maya's men shook her brain. "Yes Maya." She answered, crossing her slender legs over one another.
"You worthless piece of trash." Maya cursed before slamming the door closed and walking out.
It didn't give up any emotion out of Betty. She simply didn't know it was supposed to hurt her, she never heard anything else. So she held onto her poker face, and fell back asleep, dreaming over the handsome male.

"I'm here for Maya Cooper, I have an appointment." Jughead said as he stood in front of the huge gates of her mansion.
"What is your name?" One of the guards asked him, their jaws clenching.
"Jughead Jones." The two men looked at Jughead before opening the gate for him. With a lot of peeping and squeaking, the gate slowly opened its trails.
"She can be found on the second floor, in the third room on the right." Jughead glanced his eyes over the guards as he quickly hurried inside the gates.
In his sight he saw a huge front garden, filled with beautiful trees and colourful flowers. It was absolutely stunning.
With a slow step he entered the house, where the people inside simply just stared at him. They all looked the complete opposite of the outside of the house. Everyone was wearing clad black clothes, black masks over their head, and spikes around their necks and wrists.
It didn't frighten Jughead, he was as hard as stone.
Slowly he sauntered up the stairs, onto the second floor and into the third room on the right.
A woman was standing there, blonde hair wavering down her shoulders, her arms crossed over her chest. "Jughead, welcome." She said, smirking at him.
"Maya Cooper, do you have what I want?" He came straight to the point, wasting no time to get out of here. He didn't want to be here, he felt like he betrayed his own promises.
"Well I sure do Jones, but keep it calm." Her voice was evil, and it actually surprised him, "I've got some contacts for you that you may like. People who you can sell the drugs to, making more money from it."
"Where do you have them?"
"You're very straightforward aren't you," The woman slowly stepped closer to Jughead, her breath on his face. "Here are a few of them." She said, handing him her phone. It had a black cover surrounding the phone, a logo on it.
The symbol seemed familiar, but he couldn't figure it out. "Thanks." He just answered, and wandered through the contacts. He took his own phone out of his pocket, converting the contacts over.
A sudden knock came on Maya's door, causing the both of them to look up at the door. "What!?" The woman yelled as a man came in the door opening.
"We have a problem in your basement." The man, clad in black clothes and spikes surrounding his neck, told her.
"Fucking Elizabeth." Maya spitted, basically storming out of the room without saying another word.
It left Jughead alone with her phone. Her phone with all her secrets and contacts. It created a mischievous look to layer on Jughead's face.
Very carefully, he pressed her home button, and opened her messages. The first peersom to pop up was a man named Malachai. He opened their chat;
basement, again.
Malachai had sent it to Maya, two days ago.
god she's fucking annoying. wake her, kick her, and leave her.
shes's not waking up.
Attached was a picture of the girl they were supposedly hiding in their basement. The girl Maya was off to now as well. The picture was blurry and the room was dark, but it was visible enough for Jughead's heart to crash into his chest.
It was that insane girl. That girl who had held a knife to Sweet Pea's neck, and then ran off with the necklace.
She was lying on the cold floor, bruises all over her arms, her face pale, and passed out.
Jughead felt his body boil with anger. This girl was being starved, abused and tortured and nobody had known it.
He quickly took a picture of the picture of the girl with his own phone, just before Maya and that other man came waltzing back into the room. "You got all your contacts?" She asked him, Jughead nodding firmly in response.
"Downstairs your delivery is ready. It was wonderful doing business with you Jones." Jughead gave her a charming smile, while all he wanted to do was wrap his hands arond her neck and strangle her until she'd give up.
"Likewise." He proceeded to answer, reaching out his hand for her to shake it.

"Elizabeth!" Her voice came back in the room, and Betty immediately stood up from her bed, "I told you to behave and stay here silently, not to faint in the middle of my meeting!"
"I'm very sorry Maya, it won't happen again." She apologized, her eyes staring straight ahead into thin air.
"That's what you said last time." Maya gritted, letting one of her men enter the room. Betty didn't move, she had no reason to. He was going to hit her, she knew that, but she didn't feel it. She never did. "Beat her up, but stop just before she faints." Maya instructed the man before walking out the room, slamming the door closed.
The darkness consumed the room again, and for some odd reason, the dark always was the thing that frightened Betty the most.
this is the worst chapter tbh, much more will be coming up soon !
